Awesome Hyderabadi halal cuisine in Hicksville. Loved the ambiance. Staff was very friendly. I went in today with kids for lunch. Their chutney/raita were hit not all the Restuarants serve you a thick yogurt white raita and/or fresh mint chutney. We ordered Mutton biryani, it came with mirchon ka salan. Portion was good. Mutton was cooked through, and it tasted good with mirchon ka salan. We also ordered seekh kebabs, though they were flavorful and felt fresh but I think they were not the highlight of the order. We also ordered dum ka murgh with Sesame naan. Sesame naans were fresh, crispy and fluffy. Dum ka murgh was well cooked and flavorful. My kids loved it the most. Double ka meetha was awesome. I always thought double ka meetha is Shahi tukde where bread slices are dipped in flavored milk, but bread pcs were soaked in sugar syrup. It tasted awesome 👌. If you love gulab jamun, you would definitely love it. Overall it was a very good experience. Food came out quickly. And attended made us feel comfortable at Restuarant. It was just me with my 2 young boys. I was bit hesitant how staff would treat a woman dinning out where we were the only customers in for lunch, but I felt safe and welcomed. All the serving dishes were clean and Crack free. Though there is not much street parking and restaurant is more on the corner of main road but You can park in a close by lot. My kids are our big food critics, and they both enjoyed the food. We are definitely looking forward to going back for more on a regular basis inshaAllah.

The poor service and lack of professionalism was very frustrating to deal with. The closing time was around 11, and I placed my order about an hour before then. I ordered mutton biryani, beef lukhmi, and samosa, and I also tried to order a few other items but was told they weren't available; it seems like the unavailability of many menu items is the norm since I had a similar experience before. After confirming the order and on my way to the restaurant, I received a call that they would not be able to prepare for me the beef lukhmi or mutton biryani, so I substituted for chicken biryani. It would have been nice if they told us that before confirming. To make things worse, the explanation they gave for the unavailability of so many of the items was because, to the nearest: "they put a lot of the things away in the freezer since we are closing in an hour." I don't see why they claim they are open until 11 but almost all of their food isn't available an hour before then. It's sad how poorly managed this restaurant is, considering how the food was actually pretty tasty. Although the food tasted good it is a bit overpriced.

Quite possibly the best Hyderabadi dining experience I have had. The food was absolutely outstanding, Amazing flavors and was cooked so well. I wasn’t expecting this as I had recently came back from India and thought nothing over here can compare to the food back in Hyderabad until I discovered this place, now I feel like I am back home again. This is my favorite place to eat now and will always bring my family back here. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, they treat you like you are family. The chef even came and checked up on us to see how we enjoyed the food. I enjoyed the Signature Tala hua Gosht, the chicken 65 and the Hyderabadi mutton Dum biryani as well as their Chai. Absolutely fantastic flavorful food and it is family friendly. I would highly highly highly recommend this place to anybody looking for Hyderabadi Indian food in NY. Stop looking, stop scrolling you will not find a better place to eat than this.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Jazeera, an authentic Hyderabadi restaurant that truly exceeded my expectations. Located in the heart of Hicksville, Jazeera offers a delightful culinary journey into the rich and aromatic flavors of Hyderabad.

As soon as I entered the restaurant, I was immediately captivated by its elegant and inviting ambiance. The staff members at Jazeera were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and well-informed about the traditional Hyderabadi dishes they served.

Let's dive into the main attraction—the food! The menu at Jazeera offers a diverse selection of traditional Hyderabadi delicacies, each prepared with great care and attention to detail. From flavorful biryanis to succulent kebabs, every dish on the menu promises an unforgettable dining experience.

To begin my culinary adventure, I opted for the renowned Hyderabadi Biryani, and it was a true masterpiece. The fragrant basmati rice was perfectly cooked and layered with tender meat, creating an explosion of flavors in each mouthful. The biryani showcased a harmonious blend of aromatic spices that elevated the dish to new heights, leaving me craving for more.

Next, I savored the flavorful kebabs, including the assortment of Kebabs. The Kebabs were expertly cooked, featuring a beautiful textured exterior and a juicy, well-seasoned interior. Accompanied by a variety of chutneys, the kebabs provided a tantalizing burst of taste.

For the main course, I relished the Dum ka Murgh Korma and the Bagara Baingan. The Korma was a culinary masterpiece, with its creamy, aromatic gravy and tender chicken that melted in my mouth. The Bagara Baingan, a classic Hyderabadi eggplant curry, featured perfectly cooked eggplants in a luscious, well-spiced sauce that delighted my taste buds.

To conclude this unforgettable dining experience, I indulged in the traditional desserts—Qubani Ka Meetha and Double Ka Meetha. The Qubani Ka Meetha, made with dried apricots, offered a delightful blend of sweetness and tanginess that left a lasting impression. The Double Ka Meetha, a rich bread pudding-like dessert, was a heavenly treat, soaked in fragrant milk and adorned with nuts.

In summary, my dining experience at Jazeera was nothing short of exceptional. The restaurant not only delivered an authentic taste of Hyderabad but also showcased a commitment to quality, presentation, and excellent service. The flavors were authentic and robust, and the entire experience left me longing for more.

If you are searching for an authentic Hyderabadi culinary adventure, I wholeheartedly recommend visiting Jazeera. This restaurant is a hidden gem that will transport you to the vibrant streets of Hyderabad, leaving you with a deep appreciation for the rich flavors and heritage of...

If you find yourself in Hicksville, Long Island, do yourself a favor and drop by Jazeera. This place is more than just a restaurant; it’s a delightful escape into the heart of Hyderabadi cuisine. With a stellar reputation and an ambiance that feels like a warm embrace, Jazeera has quickly become one of my favorite spots.

As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted by beautiful decor that captures the essence of Hyderabad. The atmosphere is vibrant yet cozy, making it the perfect backdrop for a casual meal or a special gathering. The warm and inviting hospitality of the owner makes you feel right at home; you can tell they genuinely care about your dining experience.

Now, let’s talk about the food. The Mutton Biryani is a must-try—aromatic basmati rice layered with tender mutton pieces, all infused with traditional spices that will transport you straight to India with each bite. If you’re in the mood for something lighter, the Chicken Biryani is equally satisfying, featuring perfectly marinated chicken and fragrant rice topped with caramelized onions.

For those who crave a rich, creamy dish, the Chicken Korma is a winner. Simmered in a smooth sauce with yogurt and aromatic spices, it’s the kind of dish that feels like a warm hug. And let’s not overlook the Mutton Haleem—a comforting, hearty dish with deep flavors that’s perfect for any occasion. Honestly, it would give the Hyderabadi spots on Devon Avenue in Chicago a run for their money!

Now, I can’t finish this review without raving about the desserts. The Double Ka Meetha is simply divine, with bread soaked in sweetened milk, cardamom, and saffron, garnished with pistachios that add a perfect crunch. And then there’s the Mango Rabdi, a luscious treat made from thickened milk and fresh mango puree, topped with nuts—it’s the perfect way to end your meal.

Jazeera is not just about the food; it’s about the experience. With its inviting atmosphere, stunning decor, and the owner’s incredible hospitality, it feels like family. Whether you’re a South Asian native craving a taste of home or just looking to explore the rich flavors of Hyderabadi cuisine, Jazeera is the spot you won’t want to miss. So, gather your friends, bring your appetite, and enjoy a delicious meal that’s sure to leave...

On a sunny Sunday afternoon I had an intense craving for Indian food emerge. Searching for indian restaurants in the Hicksville area, Jazeera caught my eye as it appeared to be fairly new and it had Hyderabadi in its name, and Hyderabadi biryani is widely considered to be one of the best variations of biryani. We feasted on hyderabadi mutton biryani, chicken tikka masala, saag paneer, garlic naan, and at the recommendation of the chef/owner, a beef karahi dish. All of the food lived up to the expectations and reputations of this flavorful cuisine, and the owner Abdul Salam embodied the very ideal of South Asian hospitality. It was evident from his interactions with us and other patrons that he is truly passionate about his food and treats everyone as a fellow family member to be fed. After we had feasted on the above dishes we were thoroughly and utterly full, but brother Abdul Salam insisted we try his desserts and gave us two to try, free of charge and on the house. Without any exaggeration, I can truly say the desserts especially blew my mind, as my wife, who doesn't have as much of a sweet tooth as I do, greatly enjoyed the Shahi Tukra, and the mango rabdri bursted with a perfect balance of flavors and sweetness. We took the leftovers to go so my younger siblings could try the food and they also enjoyed it very much. I highly recommend everyone to come try this restaurant not only for the delicious eats, but also to experience the hospitality and compassion exhibited by the chef/owner. I am very thankful for my first time experience at...
