Storm boutique — Local services in Town of Oyster Bay

Owner answering the phone is not Tactful and unpleasant. Recently purchased jeans and Called the store to inquire if they had the same jeans in another size. The owner advised I should send her a pic of the jeans . Provided her with the brand name of jeans and style name as well as color . The owner could not understand that I was asking for the same Jeans just in another size as I was purchasing for a friend. The owner continued to state “ I don’t understand what you mean.” Provided her with all the information and details; she still couldn’t figure it out . Sadly this person runs and manages the boutique; that is named “ Storm” . The name of the store “ STORM is very fitting for my experience today ! Will never shop here again! Expensive, Poor quality and even worse customer experience. Bought a pair of pants here and as soon as I took them home they ripped. I called as soon as it happened and was told to bring them to the store and they would try and fix them, and arranged what day I would come in. When I came in I was treated poorly by the shop employee who barely even looked at the pants and told me that the owner had already told her they would not fix the pants because they were worn, even though i had only just removed it before putting them on and I still had the tag with me and was told to come in!!! Spent 30 min driving there for no reason. She kept complaining on and on that she didn’t have time to call me not to come in (despite the fact I had called several days prior) because she’s so busy she can’t even stop to take a bathroom break or go to the bathroom while she’s at work . 60$ down the trash. This boutique has a great selection of super cute clothes. However, many of their items are quite expensive and I have found they don't wear or wash well. I have also found they don't stand behind their merchandise and were of very little help when I went in with a shirt that tore after one wear. I have no problem spending money for quality, but I don't think the items in this store are high quality at all.
