Vegan/Paleo and Vegetarian friendly menu. While I'm a carnivore at heart, this place does make you re-think what to eat considering so many healthier options with or without meat proteins. They do sell steak and shrimp options. The draw here was their name "Organic Krush". Decor is clean and fresh looking, wide open space inside with an orderly line setup. There is indoor dining available and the seating area is spacious. Otherwise, order to go which is what I did this visit. It was my first time here and happened to come upon it because I was looking for a neighboring business. Changed my mind once I saw this place. Ended up buying everything I wanted here.
The selection is varies, serves breakfast all day and offers creative and custom (choose your own base and proteins) lunch or dinner fare. I was impressed with the daily specials and loved the Breakfast Skillet Hash from the weekend choice. That was a bowl of sauteed Bell peppers, brussel sprouts, kale, red onion, potatoes and bacon topped with two fried eggs. Even my kiddo ate it! I also ordered the Mexi steak as an entree so I opted for sauteed spinach as my base. The steak was medium rare, very pink which I loved. It's a grilled grass fed skirt steak with black beans, spinach, grilled pineapple, pico de gallo and comes with a side of chipotle lime crema dressing. A very complete meal and the sweetness of the pineapple really ties the flavors together. Another dish I ordered to go was the Coconut Shrimp as a bowl with brown rice; hubby didn't love it but the...

You can see back into the kitchen and hand hygiene is abysmal. Saw a girl wiping her mouth on her apron and hands then just put gloves on without washing her hands. A different girl picked napkins and trash up off the floor with gloved hands but then began preparing ready to eat items with those same gloves on. They don't appropriately change gloves between tasks either. More than once two different employees touched a dirty item or rag then ready to eat items with the same gloves on. They also spend a lot of time chatting and not multi tasking. Full stopping work to just have a conversation.
Then right before I left a girl with two blue tooth ear pods in picked up a random rag off the counter, wiped her gloves hands then picked up a plate of ready to eat eggs and pushed them into the steam well ready to serve.
I did say something to the girl at the counter about the very poor hygiene but she said nothing and handed me my food. I had time to type this in real time as things were occurring since it took so long for my order to be ready. I understand to go orders take up time but I've come twice now and same lengthy wait both times.
Please everyone always speak up when you see poor hand hygiene. You could actually...
Read moreI have celiacs so for the past year gf and “clean eating” have been my friends. I decided to try this place out after so many recommendations by multiple people. Due to the lack of carbs I’ve been allowed to eat —I’m honest and can be super bitter if I feel let down..so here we go. All I can say is that it’s an over-priced “wholefoods-esque” establishment. Even if everything I got in my salad bowl was “organic”, it wasn’t worth $35. You’re allowed to pick up to 4 add-ins, and if you want anything else, it’s an extra 1.25. Add-ins and toppings should be kept separate, and you should be allowed one topping without charge. Paying 1.25 for a sprinkle of sunflower seeds is just humorous to me. Don’t get me started about a small serving of parsley or cilantro being an extra 1.25. Their serving of chicken is tiny. Their steak is overpriced, insanely. A small 4 oz portion of what I assume to be grass fed steak, cut unknown, shouldn’t be 17.25. Especially since it’s coming to you at wholesale prices, the up-charge is insane. You’re already bulldozing us with the add-ins. The only reason I’m giving three stars is because of the staff. They’re overly sweet and accommodating, and the place is super clean. Food is ok. They didn’t have offer anything unforgettable other than their prices in order for me to go back. Far too many places “clean-organic” places on the island to go to...
