I had a three year old Nord Stage 3 that suddenly had the nerve to just stop working. After days searching “how to” videos online, and calling a half dozen repair shops, I attempted to fix it myself. I do have a background in electronics. I saw replacement components online, and they were ridiculously expensive. I was getting seriously frustrated.

Before I got in too deep, someone recommended Davidson.

To make a long story short (too late), the owner was friendly, knowledgable, and he did something extremely rare in 2025… He totally went out of his way to research the keyboard, called both Nord and Sweetwater (where it was purchased) and tried to save me money by seeing if it was still under warranty. The effort was very much appreciated.

The keyboard was fixed in 24 hours at an extremely reasonable rate.

The owner is an EXPERT, a friendly guy who actually cares about his work, his customers and providing quality service.

I’m going to break another keyboard just so I can experience such rare, professional...

I have been doing business with Corey and the guys at Davidson, ever since Corey started the business in his basement. It has been 40years and he has expertly fixed my Marshall JCM 800, My Boogie Mark V, all of my Egnaters; Fender twin and a few crappy line 6 amps! ( I am still embarrassed by that phase of my amplifier life) and he took my Egnater tourmaster apart and they rebuilt it and it is an absolutely amazing amplifier now; I think I have the only one in the world that actually works! Very simply his work has always been top quality with no bullshit! I have lived up and down the East coast of the United States and he is better than anyone I have ever encountered. I currently live almost 2 hours away from his shop and he is still my amp guy; because he is that good, my amplifiers are very important to me. I would tell you his prices are really good, but if I do, I know he is going to charge me more (every time I mention I thought the price was really good, he mumbles he has to remember to charge me more)!...

Wow. I've never written a negative review for anyone until now. I believe they are probably fantastic at repairs but the attitude they gave me was so horrifying I would never go back there. I came there to get a keyboard repaired and they were scolding me for the keyboard well needing repair. I thought they were a repair shop. I didn't realize I needed to glue two small plastic pieces before they could work on it. And they won't work on it if it's disassembled? In other words I need to pay them at least $50 for the half hour it takes just to take all the screws out and put them back which I am perfectly capable of doing myself and they need to do anyway. I wish they would have told me their requirements before I drove 2 hours. But I would actually been fine with all of that had they just been nice about it. Instead they were scolding me to go back home and fix it and reassemble it and then bring it back to them. Well too late I fixed it myself already and thankfully no longer need to...
