Shoe Dept. — Local services in Town of Pomfret

I went in looking for any size women's 10 sneakers, there were only two pairs available, so I settled on one. When I requested the other shoe because there was only one in the box the employee took a very long time searching before telling me they did not have it, they only had two left shoes. She told me they won't be getting any more of those shoes in ever. She gave me an excuse about UK sizing which I do not believe. I was absolutely flabbergasted that I was unable to buy shoes at the shoe store. This is not the first time I have had issues with the shoe department though, they sold me defective shoes two years ago and tried to blame me, making an exchange nearly impossible and with their prices being so high I almost lost quite a chunk of change. I'm imagining a similar situation took place when someone attempted to exchange their double righty for a pair of shoes. I ended up having to go to Wal Mart where they had an expansive selection of larger shoe sizes so I was able to get both sneakers and sandals for five dollars less than the single pair of sneakers I tried to buy at the...

This place is a very nice shoe store, I don't know who the owner is and the staff who is one person at this store was very rude to me and my wife, my wife was going to tell her off and so what was I, we are a older couple and we wanted comfortable sneakers I knew what I wanted and so did my wife but it was like bothering this woman to even help us her name was Debbie Williams and in my opinion she's very rude and should not even work in public service she should be fired right away I don't normally think of people like this but I am a 15-year-old Army veteran and I'm disabled, and when she told me she did not care that ticked me off, I'm going to be posting everyday until she...

Although I was pleasantly surprised by the shoe selection, the two women who were working this evening helped us to decide to shop elsewhere with their scowls and less than welcoming behavior. I understand that the Friday night shift and restocking/moving shoes is not necessarily super fun, but we were glared at for little to no discernable reason.
