I don’t know where to begin other than 8 years ago I stumbled upon Ear Works Audiology and my Audiologist Dr Melissa , in Wading River , who I got to know an$ she got to know me , something in todays day and age fell by the wayside , all anyone wants to do is sell you something and be done . That’s not the case at Ear Works Audiology, they make it their business to get to know you and help you with your wants and needs in a sincere environment, always keeping in touch with you . I myself respect and admire the effort that goes into that for I am a businessman who built 2 businesses on word of mouth something you don’t even hear about anymore , but guess what putting your clients needs up there , because you are their customer (patient ) is paramount in any business . The team at Ear Works is fantastic. Hearing loss can be tough to deal with and understand, as can solutions. Melissa was fantastic explaining the results of my tests as well as why hearing aids are so important to brain health as we age. Understanding the importance of the devices, as well as what they can and cannot do for tinnitus helped me understand her decisions towards a specific device. I'm the sort of person who likes to research and find the best product and understand what it does and how it works, and I came out of my appointment confident that the research had been done for me. I didn't feel--like I so often do--that the decision to pair me to a device was arbitrary or based on anything besides what best met my needs. Dr. Melissa Taylor of Wading River is amazing! I first went to an ENT specialist because of tinnitus, only to find out I needed hearing aids. It came as a complete shock to say the least. Through the recommendation of a friend I went to Dr. Taylor. She was amazing!! She helped me through every step of the way! There are no words to express my gratitude for all that she did!
