âď¸ 1-Star Review - Wildcat Bagel Needs Major Improvements âď¸
I had high hopes for Wildcat Bagel as a local business, but my recent experience was extremely disappointing. Last week, I placed a $30-40 breakfast order for my family, including bacon egg and cheese sandwiches and French toast for my toddler. Unfortunately, nearly everything went wrong from start to finish.
When I arrived after a 20-minute drive, my order still wasn't ready, forcing me to wait an additional 15 minutes. The French toast for my 1.5-year-old was somehow both hard and soggy - completely inedible. To make matters worse, my sandwiches were made with sausage instead of the bacon I specifically ordered. The sausage egg and cheese I received was absolutely soggy and tasted horrible.
What's most concerning is that after reading other reviews, I see this is a common issue. Instead of addressing these ongoing problems, the business seems to criticize customers for leaving honest feedback. As someone who runs a business myself, this is not how you handle customer service. Mistakes happen, but good businesses own them and make things right.
When I called to address the mistakes, rather than apologizing or offering to fix the order, the staff insisted I was wrong about what I had ordered. This defensive attitude toward legitimate complaints is unacceptable. There are several other excellent bagel shops in town that consistently get orders right and treat customers with respect.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was too disappointing not to share. Until Wildcat Bagel improves their quality control and customer service approach, I cannot recommend this establishment. Being a small business is no excuse for poor food quality and rude service. Save your money and visit one of the many better options...
   Read moreUpdate 5/24: I have since started going here in person and the food is very good. Since WR Deli changed ownership, I have started coming here exclusively for my breakfast sandwiches. I changed my opinion and my review because of that. I would recommend coming in person and not using the delivery apps. Too expensive and unreliable results.
After waiting an hour and change they cancel my door dash delivery for 3 sandwiches. The driver was there at the store waiting. They called me after he arrived and asked why my order had a side of cheese. It didn't. that's whats on their menu setup. He said they were making it now since the driver was there waiting. Then they just canceled it 20 minuets later. Considering they are already overpriced and there are 2 other delis within 300 yards, I will not ever order from them again.
