After a short conversation, the young jeweler Jim suggested that he could try to repair the damaged lock on the chain, which would avoid replacing it. I immediately agreed. After a short while, Jim returned and handed me the repaired chain. When I asked how much I was paying, he replied that it was nothing. At first I thought I had heard wrong. I've recently started collecting US coins. I've been to atleast 6 different coin dealers' shops and (actually had some bad experiences) no place comes close in terms of approachability, expertise, and overall welcoming facility not to mention an excellent selection of exactly what I was looking for. Don't bother going anywhere else. These guys know their stuff.

I visited a few weeks ago with my daughter (7) and they were so warm and inviting. The gentleman Joe who works there and the other woman (I forget her name) went above and beyond teaching her stuff about history and keeping her entertained while I rifled through some silver.

He is very professional and if you are selling your gold or silver he will give a fair market value, if not better.
