This daycare has an extremely beautiful property, interior and exterior. I chose this daycare due to the great location and appeal to it. I enrolled both my children because the staff seemed extremely friendly at first. They provide a lot of good crafts and activities. Within the first couple of months, I ran into a few issues, such as incorrect meal sheets; Which concerned me due to the fact that both my kids are vegetarian .Thankfully, the Director reassured me that it was just an error even even though it happened multiple time(s).I have had issues where I was told that my daughter would be taken to the bathroom every 15 minutes, I explained to them that she has been potty trained since one and a half so she would not have to go that frequently she could go every hour — For weeks on end, my daughter was not taken to the bathroom all day, which is extremely concerning because it is not healthy for a toddler to hold pee for nine hours straight. I do not direct blame on her primary teacher (she’s great and corrected then issue immediately). I’m not sure who to blame due to the fact that staff is constantly switching. upon registering my children, I was also asked my babys bottle schedule; I’m not sure why I was asked if they don’t even follow the schedules. Even when my baby was on formula before he transitioned to milk; the schedule was not followed, and it raised concerns with my child’s pediatrician being that formula is a major source of nutrients. Sometimes he was not even given a bottle. This daycare also favorites children ( unlike COA portjeff ). Last, but not least if you work in the medical field or any job, you cannot constantly call out of and is not lenient; I would not recommend enrolling your child/children in the daycare because they will constantly send your children home if they have a low-grade fever, or “appear sick”, which is understandable, you would think the daycare would have your childs best intrest, understand teething as daycare workers. As a mother of three and a licensed medical professional they have been accurate about my childs sickness a solild 1, maybe 2 out of maybe 8-10 times. I first hand witnessed a child projectile vomiting, and they tried to justify It by saying he was choking on something when I was literally standing right there and he definitely was not choking on anyhing, Apparently the 24 hour policy only applies to select children or families. Also, I would definitely be concerned on little things such as children in the morning running around with scissors even though supervised and small things like that cameras not being able to be rolled back (even though you pay for them). overall, as much as I would like to rate this daycare a two, I unfortunately have to rate it a one due to constant issues and walking on egg shells; never knowing what will pop up next. I do plan on switching daycares within the upcoming months due to relocation ;but I am currently not switch because at this my toddler is already semi-comfortable and I don’t want her to transition multiple times...
Read moreMy kids (ages 3 and 1.5) have been attending COA since they were three months old. The teachers in every class are so amazing and attentive. Miss Patty and Miss Dora in the infant classrooms are great; my kids still run down the hallway to give them hugs when they see them. Miss Amanda in the Toddler class does a wonderful job, always teaching the kids about colors and shapes and dancing with them. We love Miss Nancy, Miss Vanessa and Miss Michelle—they aren’t even in my kid’s classrooms right now, but I’m always hearing stories about how they helped my kids during the day or popped in to say hello. Miss Jessica does a great job with the pre-schoolers and my son is constantly coming home with something new that he learned and I love it. Also, the entire school banded together and helped my son get potty-trained. Each and every teacher at this school genuinely cares about the kids and I am so so impressed with the amount of learning that goes on in the classrooms every day. I have never been concerned about the safety of my kids—I know they are in really good hands when I drop them off. COA does a great job throughout the year as far as bringing in new activities and setting up fun parties for the kids for the holidays. The directors, Kelly and Mary Kate, are wonderful—they are always aware of everything going on in the classrooms and do a really good job of keeping parents informed about their children. This is a wonderful school with loving caregivers. Can’t say enough...
Read moreBoth my daughters have been attending COA since they were 3 months old. Miss Patty and Miss Dora in the Infant rooms are amazing and warm. I was so at ease when dropping off both of my children when they were infants because of them. Miss Jessica fully potty trained my daughter when she was in her class. It is difficult enough to train one child and it amazed me how well she handled it with a handful of children learning at once. My four-year old is now in Miss Vanessa and Miss Allison’s class. I couldn’t say enough good things about them both. She has learned so much from them and I am so impressed. She is writing her name and letters and tells me about everything she learns. My 1 ½ year old is in Miss Amanda’s class and she is the perfect teacher for that room. Her vocabulary is expanding and she is always so happy to run into her class when dropping her off. Miss Catherine and Mr. Chris are wonderful with both of my children. I couldn’t be happier with the new Management. Miss Kelly really knows how to juggle the different roles her job entails and she still has a special relationship with each child as she started as a teacher in the infant room (My girls adore her). I am so happy with the communication of Management which I felt was lacking prior to the new management. Miss Mary Kate & Miss Amy are a great addition to Management. My daughters enjoy every single teacher in the building. I highly recommend this...
