I hate leaving bad reviews for small businesses. They have a tough enough time given the economic conditions right now. However, I was kind of appalled the way I was treated here.

I stopped in this morning, and inquired about what % of spot price they pay for silver and gold. And gave a pretty sizable number of the I am a collector myself, so I have a baseline understanding of bullion. I was refused a number, based on the silver value alone and told to bring it in. I mentioned what it was, Morgans and straight bars. Still was not given a number. So then I just left. Not mannered at all, it felt like I was told to kick rocks after driving out of my way due to this place’s excellent reviews.

I would love to change this review. I hope this was just a one off service wise, and I was just unlucky.

Nothing but great customer service, knowledge and professionalism minus the pressure.Contacted Jason to inquire about a timepiece trade this past weekend , with correspondence way after business hours let alone on a weekend.Jason was able to accommodate my indecisiveness with plenty of patience. Went in here today in Smithtown and in the past I never ever had luck with these kind of places they always try and scam you and try and make it like you know nothing when it comes to selling gold or silver.So before I even decided to go I was skeptical.I now can say I was very wrong to think that about this place.I read the reviews but still was waiting for the scam and BS to start.Jason who is there right away met me when I walked in.Was honest with me and everything he said was the opposite of what I was used to.Honest guy and I was shocked he didn’t try and low ball me.I can honestly say I walked out of there happy with how everything went and also what I got which is very important obviously lol.I’ll never go anywhere else.Thanks again Jason glad there are still honest people out there...
