The nurses are always nice when we need to come here. But the one old male doctor for the ER is condescending, rude, and talks to you like you're an idiot. I went in for headaches, dizziness, and almost passing out and he treated both me and my husband like we were dumb. Sent me out the door claiming "only anxiety. Only a panic attack. Your vitals are fine." But here I am, still dizzy and having trouble. I have lived my whole life with anxiety and this is more than that. Stop gaslighting your patients. Go somewhere else. Unless I'm absolutely dying, I'll make the trip to Porter....

EDIT: I finally had a BETTER doctor somewhere else listen to me. I was immediately diagnosed with PCOS and they took the time to WORK with me. So if you're a woman especially, do yourself a favor and find a doctor that will actually listen and not...

Uncomfortable place. People that work here are very unfriendly. I went to have a mammogram, and the staff seemed mizerable it was depressing and no one tbere could even crack a smile. I noticed this when I went and had physical therapy at ticonderoga hospital too. The physical therapists we're miserable there too. But I mean everyone from the front desk to the nurses all looking like they hate evefything about the place. Do they all hate working there? Or what they can't even begin to look friendly or...

On a stay last year my son had a medical emergency, they would not let me and my wife go with him, so my wife went. They were very resistant to give me updates and I did have to text my wife for details. Other then them withholding updates from me in the small waiting area they treated him and my wife well as they were tending to him. Slightly unnerving not knowing what's going on with your son in the hospital but good to know they took great care of him while...
