I had a really wonderful customer service experience here. When I needed a different size of jeans help was gladly offered before I could even ask. I could hear the attendant helping many other customers too with a playful jolly… this mood made everyone’s shopping experience nice, I could tell, and I felt very comfortable and supported. In fact, I only went in to buy some belts and jewelry I had preselected online… but the natural, fun, and respectful nature of the stores mood I felt welcome to linger and browse. Because of this Madewell sold me three more pairs of jeans and sunglasses. I am actually very pleased with the purchase because the attendants helped me decide on the best fit of the jeans with some styling input. So I leave feeling happy to have gone, satisfied with my purchase, and convincing my sister she needs to go with me next. I suppose my message is that management should endlessly value their employees, and patrons can rest assured they’ll have a very pleasant and customized visit...

I owned my last pair of jeans (my only pair of jeans) for 3 years. They survived multiple wears and walking many miles per week. Their quality is amazing.

The sales associates are wonderful. The associate I worked with walked me through all the different options within my specifications, and even noticed that I was wearing jeans that were too big (which the previous store had not). She walked me through what to look for, and what might work for me, picking style after style and size after size. Despite trying on, seemingly, a lot of pairs of jeans, I was in and out quickly because the associate was so great in getting me everything.

Their jeans cost more than some places, but I will never shop anywhere else as long as their jeans keep...

I absolutely LOVE going to Madewell! Obviously the clothes are beautifully made and they make me feel stylish. However, Tim and Nancy are the real magic at the store. They are SO helpful and always make sure I leave with clothes I feel confident in.
