I will NEVER again use their service! Please understand that I have never written a negative review until this day, THAT is how unhappy I am with F.H. Corwin Florist! I am a Soldier currently deployed in Afghanistan and my only wish this tour was to break the news to my loved ones about the gender of my unborn child through flower deliveries. The idea was simple enough, blue if its a boy, pink if a girl. Not only did the flowers arrive much later then reasonable (which baffles us seeing how the shop was only making a delivery 2 miles away) but there was no sign on the delivery breaking the good news AND the wrong color flowers! Luckily our friends, wanting to not spoil the surprise, intercepted this and sent the delivery back. They later explained to me that not only was the delivery person rude when confronted with simple questions but did little to correct the situation. Only offering a sticker...a Sticker!? Our friends then ran out to a local grocery store and purchased the correct color flowers and returned within minutes. What makes me so upset is that not only did I call the shop ( a month before the Dr emailed me) and explained to them what I required , when I followed up with a phone call the day before the delivery they didn't remember me at all! Lastly I'd like to mention that I had phoned a separate florist to make deliveries in Rockland County, Dykstra Florist in Pearl River. Not only did they deliver on time with exactly what I requested but the woman who I spoke with on the phone delivered the flowers to my mother herself! AND did not charge me a dime instead just congratulated me on my soon to arrive Son and thanked me for my service. Now THAT's a great business who clearly appreciates their...

Both my side of the family and my husband’s have been using Corwin’s for years. We love their variety of greenery and flowers as well as their prompt delivery service for any holiday. I do have to express my displeasure that I never got a call back in regards to Corwin’s providing my flowers for my wedding at Crystal Springs this past fall (Nov. 2022). I had called over a year in advance.. over and over and over… including my husband and my mother. My name and number were taken every single time and was PROMISED a call back from their manager or whoever handles the flowers. I understand they were backed up during COVID but a call back to say they either could accommodate us or not would have been the right thing to do by management (and management/owner was aware that I was trying to speak to someone because I heard her in the background one day “take her number”), especially being that this was my wedding day and because we are long time loyal customers. I even went as far as going to the store to speak to someone but no one was available at that time. I was honestly embarrassed. We ended up finding another local business in Pine Island. It’s a shame because anyone knows that beautiful flowers are costly and it would have been a good opportunity to cater to us… but again, If they weren’t available, a call or text would have been nice so we didn’t have to wait around for months. Living in Arizona and my mother in Greenwood Lake NY I send flowers almost every occasion and I am a perfectionist, everything my be perfect. I used to get flowers from Raiders, however, she has retired about 6 months ago. I looked at FH Corwin's web site and was not happy to see all the tele floral pics, but there was something about the site I did like. I called and said to the women who answered the phone I hate tele floral arrangements and thats all the pics you have on you web site. She immediately said oh we have wonderful floral designers here and we would be happy to work with you. I spoke to her for 6-8 minutes and explained what I wanted, she gave me some ideas, so I ordered an arrangement for mothers day and said it was okay to deliver it a few days before the rush. The next day mom called me excited telling me how beautiful they are that she never saw such an arrangement. Then a text from my sister the next day saying the most beautiful she has seen, then my brother who owns a large landscape company and knows flowers commented he never saw such a variety in an arrangement.
