T.J. Maxx — Local services in Town of Watertown

Let me start by saying I’m a big TJX companies shopper, I love me some TJMaxx, Marshall’s and Homegoods. But this TJMaxx is quite annoying. They won’t take back anything from the other stores in their company which typically that’s the policy and they accept returns and also honor gift cards among all 3 stores which I love. “Not this location” I was told. Secondly, I need to invest in a T shirt that says “No I don’t want a TJMaxx rewards credit card!” Seriously, no means no. I’ve been in the store a handful of times and each time I get asked (multiple times after saying no, mind you) by multiple employees! This one young female employee was essentially following me around the furniture area repeatedly asking if I needed her to take any furniture to the front for me, or of course if I want to sign up for the credit card. 2-3 times I had to tell her no, that I’m just looking and will let her know if I need something. I know they have to offer the card etc., but it’s way over the top here. I’ve got a bad taste in my mouth from this store after just a few visits. Although I do find some decent stuff here, I’m beginning to think it’s worth the drive to Syracuse for the better...

This location is where the Bed Bath and Beyond use to be in Watertown NY. TJs use to be a little north of here. It was a small location with poor parking and just. It appealing to shop at.

But this new location is massive. They gutted the BB&B and made it all an open space, and so well organized and stocked. I could have spent a few hours here.

Customer service is still lacking, but the cost of items can’t be beat.

Great Mens' clothing and very reasonable prices, but selection on brands for men seems to never get larger, i remember there used to be another section near the front wall near mens racks that had even higher quality shirts, pants and socks for $14-$18 an item and even some clothing sets 2-3 items of same brand with current styles at reasonable $22-$26. Bu5 overall what they had in the store as a whole for special spices, oils, kitchenware/utensils were very current st6le and quality products at...
