This is why I love Gamestop and will not shop at Best Buy again. I bought Call of Duty WW2, new, from the Watertown Best Buy, a few weeks ago. It kept freezing, not loading, and causing me issues. I tried returning it to Best Buy. They rudely told me I could only exchange it, despite it being purchased new from them. I got into a straight argument with the moron manager, who claimed it was federal law, yet refused to show me where. Ultimately, they gave me a new copy and told me to leave. He opened the new one before giving it to me, so I couldn't return it. Treated me like I stole it for wanting my money back. I went over to the Watertown Gamestop. Told them what happened and hoped to sell it. The friendly employee Sanchez and the manager Shawn bought the new game from me. Got a great price for me. I received an email saying id get another when it get close to the preorder date. However i received no emails from gamestop, so i started sending out an email to figure out whats the deal with my order. 4 days later i still havent had any contact from gamestop explaining why i never got my order or what even happened. Leaving a review on the website i hoped it would get gamestop to tell me what happened but instead they just remove my review and still wont email me back to let me know what happened. Read moreI bought a playstation 4 pro from them, and the controller was completely dead even after charging for hours. I knew it was refurbished, but I had gotten stuff used from there before and it worked just fine. I took the controller and got it “exchanged”, got a brand new controller from walmart, completely charged it and it was lighting up and everything like it should and the ps4 pro wouldnt go off the first blue connect screen. So, I was going to return the ps4 pro but because I didn’t have the old controller I have to wait until I get the new one they “exchanged”. I get an email that night my order for the new controller has been cancelled. I never onced asked them to do that nor did I do it myself.
