3 stars because i love old navyâs clothes for my kids and love the deals. Unfortunately, my mind was blown when the employee started ringing up my items and more than half of the items rang up full price or way more than they were supposed to. Ironically the night before we tried going to the store 3 hours before closing and they were âclosing to do inventoryâ when on earth did this become a thing first of all, back in the day we would go in early as employees or stay late to do inventory. Why on the first week back to school would you decide to close your store and turn away customerâs 3 hours early? New management Iâm assuming? Because why would inventory be so wrong the very next day?? The cashier proceeded to not check the pricing, said that âit doesnât come up on her computerâ and had an attitude as if i was wrong for being concerned about overpaying. So i proceeded to say âso unless customers check we just overpay?â All employees behind the counter just stared at me and ignored my question. Customer service just isnât the same anymore. Itâs so sad. I literally had to keep checking if the items were ringing up as the sale price, and i was even told twice that i was wrong until she realized i wasnât. After the 7-8 item that was wrong, i proceeded to keep checking every single item after her and had to correct the price. Learn how to treat your customers, apologize when a mistake is made and donât be condescending. I spend a lot of many at old navy and shouldnât have been treated this way. The funny part was i was apologizing!!! I regret apologizing honestly i felt uncomfortable having to tell someone how to do their job, i was making sure i wasnât overpaying because clearly customers that are distracted or not paying attention are getting scammed. These 3 girls were so incredibly helpful and went out of their ways to find certain sizes for me. As I was purchasing a large amount for the guests at my wedding.
