I've been taking classes here for almost 3 months and let me tell you... I am challenged (and humbled) every class hahah
I wasn't someone who worked out consistently. I'd join a gym or take a couple classes but never found anything that stuck... nothing that grabbed my attention enough or gave me good enough results relatively quickly to keep going... for me, I think this was because I wasn't finding anything that had everything I was looking for in ONE work out: a happy balance of fun, different-every-time, and challenging classes, that could combine strength training, cardio, AND flexibility and stability training. Look, I don't want to workout every day, so when I DO work out I want it to cover all my bases!
The Lagree method being taught at To The Core has all of that, which is why I have consistently taken 2-3 classes a work for the last 3 months... and I have literally never done in my life.
It also helps that Erin, the owner and lead instructor, is a BOSS. She makes me want to come back every class, even though she pushes us SO hard and we walk out shaking and dripping sweat 99% of the time (it just means you had a great Lagree sesh but it's not cute hahah)! The new instructors are all great too. It's just a great environment.
If you're looking for a new challenging workout class, or if you're trying to establish a consistent workout routine but need something fun/different/challenging enough to keep you interested.... I HIGHLY recommend...
Read moreI found Erin and To The Core Pilates about 3 months ago. I have always been very active playing multiple sports and competitive dancing my whole life. After I graduated college and was done with sports and dance I felt a little lost in where I wanted to continue my fitness journey. I worked out in a local gym lifting for a few months and ended up injuring my back. After the injury and recovering I was hesitant to go back to lifting. I tried so many group classes that were subpar, but I missed the studio setting I was raised in from dancing. I finally came across To The Core and I haven't looked back since. Read moreI just wrapped up the 75 Day Sweat Challenge at To the Core, and I can honestly say—it was life-changing. From day one, I felt so welcomed by the staff and community. The energy in the studio is absolutely infectious—supportive, motivating, and always positive.
The environment is everything you want in a studio: clean, uplifting, and filled with people who genuinely want to see you succeed. I always felt encouraged, never judged, and it made showing up (even on tough days) something I actually looked forward to.
As for the workout itself… wow. I cannot believe how much it has transformed both my body and my mind. The physical results speak for themselves—stronger, leaner, more toned—but what surprised me most was the mental shift. I feel more focused, confident, and resilient than I have in a long time. Lagree challenged me in ways I didn’t expect, and I am so grateful for that.
