Play-a-Latte — Local services in Town of Webster

Poor communication.

PSA: it’s $15 for 1st kid and $10 for additional to play. They do not tell you when you come in or have clear signage that states that or have a brochure that clearly communicate that. Even when you tell them it is your first time they do not explain that. When you get a drink at the cafe and pay for it they charge you without telling you.

The “daily” pass is for 90 minutes of play. It isn’t a pass for the day like you would think either. They don’t seem to track it with a wristband or anything that would indicate you are paying either.

On the good side of things the place is cool and has nice play area for the kids. Good place to have a drink and let your kids get some exercise on a rainy day.

Cute area that will definitely keep your kids entertained. Everyone was very nice!

Things I didn’t like were that there is a projector playing movies. In my opinion, it is not necessary. Some parents get out of the house in hopes to entertain their kids AND avoid screens. Also, it doesn’t play with sound so what’s the point? I think it would’ve been cute to have a special little room as a “theater” if they wanted to have something playing. Also, there was kids playing unsupervised. One little boy was going around taking things from other kids while mom sat there sipping. I get that this place is meant for parents to go and relax while kids play but they’re kids, they can’t just go unsupervised.

Wow! What a fantastic play space for kids! Everything is so well organized and decorated so beautifully. From the cool paint colors to the beautiful hand painted wall art. They really catered to what is eye catching to kids. There is even a sensory room and an infant play space. Its open concept too so you can see your kids play while enjoying a latte!

When I walked in I was greeted by the owners and they were the ones serving the coffee/ snacks , which by the way is a fantastic feature. They are so friendly and nice here! Everything was perfect.
