I felt very profiled either from the way I looked or mine and my partners age. From the moment we walked in, it felt extremely awkward, and as if we weren’t meant to be there. The two employees stared at us, like hawks from the moment we walked in. Once we tried to walk to the back of the store, we were told to hand our bags over. She tried taking our personal bags as well but when we explained they were personal, she let us have them back. My partner noticed that other people had their bags but we didn’t. Not only was this already extremely awkward, there was another employee who followed me around the entire store, right behind me making sure I guess that I wasn’t stealing anything. Im a hardworking and honest individual who was simply shopping with my husband and 1 year old. The one woman would not leave me alone with suggestions so I just had to walk away from my shopping and I essentially had to pay, get my bags and run out. Very strange environment and not at...

the store isn't focused on customer satisfaction, it is more focused on money. You will find every item without labels on it,(cut out). They're handwritten with prices that are extremely expensive for the items in that store. Everything stated about this store's poor customer service is true. Unfortunately they'll never see my dollars again. I only intended to buy one thing in the store, it didn't work out and I didn't care for anything else in there. I love supporting black businesses but in this experience, the manager is not empathetic, the store representatives stated loudly how they couldn't wait to get off work. The entire time I was being rung up after being refused a refund for an item purchased 4 days ago, the cashier talked on the phone making arrangements for seafood dinner and hanging out. 🤦🏿‍♀️ These people aren't here to work anything but your pockets. As a Black woman wanting desperately to support another Black woman owned business, it pains me to write such a negative review. The customer service here is nonexistent. I feel that I was profiled from looking “ young” because I came in the store with a small bag (literally only large enough to hold a piece of jewelry that I had just bought at Nordstroms) and was told to hand it over. So I did but then I looked around and saw some older woman holding a bag 🙃. Not okay. I make over $100K a year, I promise you I can afford whatever is in this store.
