Do NOT shop at this Target if at all possible!!!! This location is a mere 5 minutes from our house, so my husband and I routinely shake off our bad experiences here, but today was the last straw. Honestly, I should've just turned around when I got there at 9am on a Saturday to find ZERO carts available in store and to be greeted by two employees arguing about retrieving them from the lot. (I just went out and got my own). Fast forward 40 minutes and I'm in the check out line with a full cart, and I brace myself for the wait because this location never has enough lines open commensurate to the time of day. I'm in line 15 minutes before it's my turn, and it's abundantly clear that the cashier is at best on her first shift as a non-trainee (who does that on a Saturday morning???!!!). At this point I've unloaded everything onto the conveyor, although I put out on the conveyor just one of each of my bulkier items (cat litter, diapers, etc...). Even when I was 9 months pregnant with twins I could never get any help at this store unloading things, so I routinely just put up one each of my heavy items and tell the cashier how many of each I have. Well at this point I get distracted by a Chatty Cathy in line next to me who can tell by my purchases that I have newborns, and she wants to see pictures, etc... the point is that I wasn't paying attention as close as I normally would to the transaction, but I clearly tell the cashier I have two litter and two diaper boxes. At some point during all of this two other target employees have wandered over to help this woman with my transaction, so by the time I'm paying there are no fewer than 3 employees standing at my register. Mind you, this has now taken 35 minutes (15 in line, 20--yes 20, being helped myself). I proceed to the exit where target security promptly stops me and asks for my receipt, which takes a minute to find because the cashier had stuck in it some random bag, and this young kid informs me that I haven't paid for all of my items. Right, I paid for $250 in merchandise and am apparently trying to steal a few things. Sigh. Well it turns out that the cashier did not in fact ring my duplicates of the bulkier items, which should have occurred to me honestly if I hadn't been distracted, because I should've gotten one of those in store gift cards for the second box of diapers. Sigh. I make the mistake of saying this allowed, which apparently signals to the young kid security guard that I clearly was trying to pull a fast one, as then he won't leave my side while he tries to find a cashier to help me. Well, a cashier can't help me if I want the gift card, so next I'm being escorted to guest services, where he stands in line with me (seriously?!). I've had enough by this point so I ask for a manager, who offers to give me an instant rebate instead of the gift card I earned from the purchase. Big whoop. I'm in near tears by this point. Mind you, this is my first trip out of the house without my newborn twins, and I've literally been accused of stealing after spending hundreds of dollars, escorted around by a security guard, and this whole ordeal has taken me 45 minutes to check out--5 minutes longer than it did for me to get all of my items in the store!!!!
And I WiSH that the above story was an anomaly. A few months ago, when I was still pregnant with the twins, I went in to buy a bunch of stuff. At the register, the cashier was having a problem he blamed on a "new" credit card system...(uh, they've had those chip readers for over a year now...) so he kept voiding my transaction and runs my card three times in a row. On the fourth time, the system issues a reject message, and the cashier has the balls to tell me that I must just not have enough credit available. Excuse me?! Luckily I had another card with me. I barely even made it out of the store before my bank was calling with a fraud alert--they had put a hold on my first card because someone had tried to run four purchases in a row at a target, and they wanted to know, was that me? Ugh!!! I guess I'll drive...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFor the most part, I like the Target in Towson.Could it be better? Yes. On numerous occasions, the women's shoe department looks like a cyclone hit it. Of course, I know that this isn't entirely on the employees. Customers should have the common courtesy to not just throw shoes everywhere because they have the attitude of, "It's not my job to put back what I took out." But, it's also not just the shoe department. The makeup aisle, especially where the liquid foundations for L'oreal and Maybelline are, are always in disarray and never fully stocked. And the E.l.f mascara/eyebrow makeup section has been sloppy and under stocked for well over a month now. Clothing wise, I think Target as a whole needs to seriously reduce prices on some of the dresses that have not moved at all. No surprise, since the collections haven't been that impressive. I ended up finding a nice dress on their website whose brand they carry in their store, but was only available online. Another item that was advertised on their signage, wasn't even stocked at the store. I still will go to this Target, but not as frequently as before. Hopefully, they'll be able to restock soon and do a serious overhaul on their clothing. ETA: Just recently went here in March, days apart from each other, and left empty handed both times for the first time. I went looking for a handbag, and the selection was lacking, as was the selection for Iphone 14 plus cases, which weren't even placed together, but scattered. An associate from another Target store had to look them up to see if there were even any available. The laptop and tablet display and selection are pitiful. The tablet case hasn't been fully stocked for months. The laptops are way in back section of electronics with only 3 or 4 on display, but only 2 working. Walmart has numerous laptops and chromebooks on display and stocked. Target has been really disappointing lately. So, I dropped my review from...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have a 74 year old mom who has been mistreated by the pharmacist as well as the staff at this location. I just arrived into town come to find out that this pharmacy has been supplying my mom with meds that she doesnāt need nor is covered by the insurance company forcing her to pay cash prices as well as shorting her on the actual prescription. I went to pick up my moms prescription today in which they were charging $400 plus dollars for her insulin patch in which the price keeps changing I asked why and was told that the doctor gave the wrong codeā how so when itās the same code she used last month so the price was more. Secondly she says when I questioned her about another prescription price oh itās not time for her to fillit . Ok so why are you? So as Iām going through my momās prescription record, I leave a message to speak to the head pharmacist since tomorrow is Thanksgiving. Another pharmacist Evelyn, who refused to give her her name who was very unprofessional and Huffy in the beginning was no help at all. She muddled under her breath oh my God so I asked her did she just say it so she gets an attitude. She has a public safety license and she supposed to protect, the patient and if she can do that, she doesnāt need her job now. Iām sure if this is happening to my mom it is happening to other people which is unethical and illegal. I will be coming up there on Friday according to Evelyn, since she was so upset about calling me back and made a point to tell me that the pharmacy was closed with her attitude. I will be reporting her to the pharmacy board. So on Friday she told me that Patel will be there and he is the manager. I will have a full conversation with him if he doesnāt do right, I will report him. So I encourage anyone who has dealt with this at this particular pharmacy or any pharmacy. You have the right to report them, and you have the right to file a disciplinary action...
