Panera Bread — Restaurant in Maryland

This Panera really surprised me. I can usually count on consistent quality from Panera. But this establishment was definitely an outlier. First off, at noon on Sunday, they had one person taking orders. That resulted in a line of 6-8 people. The order guy was working hard, but he seemed kinda new as he searched the POS for every item and modifier ordered. Meanwhile, other employees were standing around. We made a simple order pick two with half Greek salad and half toasted frontega chicken sandwich. My daughter works at a Panera and when she tasted her sandwich she looked perplexed and said, "This is not a frontega chicken sandwich. There is no basil and the cheese is not even melted." And then I put together what I saw as I waited for our order. The sandwich guy took the sandwich from the toaster oven, but the cheese and basil had slid off onto the oven surface. He recovered and discarded the melty cheese. Then he simply added a slice of cold cheese onto the chicken and served it up. Absolutely zero interest in getting the order correct. And for my Greek salad... I immediately noticed how wilted the lettuce looked. And when I took a bite, I realized why! The lettuce had gotten frozen in the too cold fridge. It was ice cold and a soggy wilted mess. Next time I am looking for a quick Panera lunch in Towson, I will be heading to a...

If I could give zero star I would. Very bad experience from this place. A bunch of unprofessional and thieves! I spent money there! and been a costumer. One evening I went there with my cousin and stayed until almost closing time, and after we left, i realized that I had forgotten my purse there, I called them, an employee picked up and reassured me that they would have my bag for me to pick up the next day, I went back I got my purse back but all my money was gone, every little bits of it, even the coins. The only reason I’m sure it’s the staff members is that to have seen the money you would’ve had to open my purse, rumble around and shake my passport cause that’s where the money was. I went back and asked for explanation a no one was willing to help, not even the so called managers. And the crazy part is the same day they stole from me I spent money there too before realizing what happened. I even asked if the manager could check cameras just to see what happened but they were rude and refuse to at least give me an answer about what happened. Husband ordered rapid pickup for us and I later learned that he had a bad experience in the restaurant. He was assumed to be a delivery driver so when our food and drinks weren't ready and he waited near the shelf employees took a long time to come to him. His food had been sitting there the entire time next to delivery orders.

He came home and our sandwiches also looked like they literally hadn't been pressed on a grill at all. I didn't realize until after I had picked through my sandwich because the bread was so dense. I was literally able to simply take the bread off, but of course after his in store experience he didn't want to return and I couldn't blame him😔.

He works as a driver for the food delivery apps and has been here before and didn't like the treatment but this time their poor treatment of customers even transfered to us as paying patrons.

This is the main reason we haven't been here in years after we used to be quite frequent regulars. We won't be patronizing this place again and will be sure to tell the people who ask our honest opinion to avoid this place especially for delivery or...
