2024 December How many CEOs of Red Robin does it take to change a lightbulb in a Red Robin restaurant? G.J. Hart, the CEO of Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, Inc., has a base salary of $1 million. He also received a $500,000 sign-on bonus and other cash incentives.
Yet this executive is unable to get his team at Towson MD store to change the lightbulb or fix it in over 12 months or hold local management accountable. If your CEO doesn't know how to fix a light bulb do they know an electrician who can do the job?
This is the epitome of management today. Eh it's good enough even though it's not. And yes this is the same lightbulb that was not lit in 2023.
Non leaders of this location call Bob the Builder. Can we fix it? Yes we can.
Q42023 Q12024 Update got a call from manager and well the excuses were predicable. He's told corporate about the issues and everything is approved to be fixed but the money hasn't come through yet. Yawn so don't fix the short circuit electrical thing. Short circuits never amount to much of a safety thing. Yeah don't clean the tile of the grease because it's going to be replaced. And lastly I was offered $10 in Red Robin bucks to return to this worn down shabby place with a mediocre philosophy to detail. I'm not sure why I'd want to return till corporate cleans the house and rebuilds with attention to detail.
The customer experience obviously means nothing right now. Out of touch lack of spirit staff.
2023 December. Management - I was incredibly disappointed. Lights burned out. How many Red Robin managers does it take to change a lightbulb?
Cleanliness is massively lacking. Everything had a cold greasy touch and worse, smell like col slightly rancid grease. Floors yuk. Bathrooms yuk.
Basically everything wrong can be corrected by a dedicated and competent manager in less than 1 day. But will it nope because some mediocre person doesn't care.
And the regional director that tolerates this should be canned.
Food and staff were excellent. Just mediocre management with mediocre expectations.
Prior to 2020 The Fish and Chips were amazing. Getting a bit too...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI ordered a burger on a lettuce wrap and was given a fried chicken sandwich on a bun. I'm intolerant to gluten and allergic to yeast. I can not eat this.
I called and asked to speak to a manager, and of course, the person who answered was the manager. He asked if the whole meal was wrong; the appetizer doesn't count because it was free, and the fries don't either because they come with the burger. The ENTIRE purpose of me going to Red Robin was because I wanted a burger.
Anyway, when I told him it was just the sandwich (because I didn't order a sandwich), he offered me a free meal next time I come in. That's not convenient. The last time I had RR was over six months ago. And seeing as I'm not going back out of my house after the 10 hour day of manual labor, I have to resort to eating chips and dip tonight.
When I told him I wanted a refund for the food I couldn't eat (which he never even apologized for), he told me he couldn't do it because I ordered online. Don't know if that's true. It seemed like a lie. How antiquated can their systems be in 2025? A.I. exists, cut it out.
It seemed like he never wanted to refund me. Because he didn't initially offer that. Idk if he thought I wanted a free meal. Not my style. I'd rather have an expensive good meal that I can actually eat.
Pics of the chicken sandwhich are attached. Also, I wouldn't eat here if you're gluten-free. Screw ups like this could result in them giving you non gluten free buns when you order a gluten-free bun. The reaction I have to gluten while not deadly is horrifying.
He seemed very nonchalant about the screwup. People don't typically order lettuce wraps if they have other choices. Because getting a burger from RR isn't meant for healthiness. So if someone orders a lettuce wrap, it's usually for health reasons š
Keep being goofy, and you all are going to make...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHad a real bad emotional day at work, so hubby came to my rescue and took me out to eat. Since a spot near by RR was not to our expectations we came to RR.
I kind of knew what I wanted either a bacon cheeseburger or thr chicken sandwich, the bacon cheeseburger won. Also I decided to try the fried pickles. Someone told me to try it and I thought why not. Well those fried pickles hit the spot. The seasoning on thr breading was spot on and they were fried to my expectations. Hubby tried the bonsai burger, which came with some kind of sauce and pineapple. He is always experimenting. Also I got a free dessert through the app for being a RR loyal member! So had the Mud pie, minus spoons. And that is why I took off 1 star. I had to chase down someone for spoons since our server was both being the bartender and server for that area. As a reward member you get a free burger for your birthday!! A win-win. So I ordered two burgers, one for myself and the other for my hubby to go. I placed the order as soon as I left work and gave ample time to pick up the burgers. Through the app, they do not give you the option on the doneness of the meat, which is not fair since they do have good burgers and I would want to order my burger as if I was dining in. Upon arrival, I arrived nearly 30 to 40 minutes early than I should to pick up my order. As I waited inside, a gentleman asked me the name on the order. After another few minutes past, a lady came to place her order, and she was able to order her burger the way she wanted. So I asked the guy about my order if they could do mine the same way since they were not even on the grill yet. The burgers are always made fresh and seasoned well. Sorry I didn't...
