I echo the sentiments of the three most recent reviewers. I went there today while on my way biking. This location is quite a bit out of my way as I live in Harford county and the location in Bel Air closed. That location was a complete 180 degrees from this location. I came in and there was one other person in the store who had already ordered his food. There was a black lady with braids as another reviewer mentioned and a younger guy working preparing food. I stood there for over five minutes before the lady even acknowledged me. This was NOT because she was unaware I was there as she looked at me 3 times. Finally she came to the register and took my order. If it was busy I could understand but as I said ONE other person in there. And also is it too much to ask for her to acknowledge me and tell me sheād be right with me in a moment? I donāt think so. I give my order and she seems as though she was being terribly inconvenienced by me trying to purchase food. I am about to pay and it gives the option of a tip. At this point I shouldnāt have given anything but I give a dollar tip. Iām not sure why. I mean I tipped her for being rude I guess. Another lady comes in and orders something and she gets her food before me. And I know she may have just ordered something simpler than mine. After another 5-6 minutes the guy preparing the food brings me my food. I sit down and the brisket bagel looks as though there is no brisket on it. I take the top off to find about 4 stringy pieces of I assume brisket. The photo shows it coming off the side of the bagel. NOT what I got⦠$7.99 for this. It gets worse. I also order a twice baked hash brown. Itās COLD, not warm, not cool. COLD! By this point Iāve wasted enough time and became irritated enough I decide to just eat this āfoodā and go. I go to wash my hands before leaving and the rest room looks like what you would see at a concert or football game. FILTHY! Is it really so hard to have one of the people working check it once or twice a shift? I mean itās not like it was busy or anything. Iām disgusted because the one by me in Harford county was the exact opposite. Clean, adequately staffed, the manager actually remembered you when you came in, asked how the food was and unlike this location they didnāt act as though you were inconveniencing them. Iād steer clear of this place if I were you. A shame because there really arenāt too many around. But if this is how the others are Iād be better off going ANYWHERE else. My order came to $14.49 for a brisket bagel that I had to look hard to find the brisket, a twice baked hash brown that was COLD no melting cheese like I had before. Bordering on frozen, and a cranberry juice. To their credit that was good, BUT it was prepackaged and they had nothing to do with making that. Also as a footnote seems kind of odd but the lady with the attitude put my name as customer AND the spot listing the host where her name should have been. Seems like she must get lots of complaints so sheās pro active about dodging them. I blacked out the name since it was MY name there not hers as it...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe workers here are just awful. Specifically, one lady. I walk in an hour before close and the floor is sopping wet. She yells at me āFLOORS WETā and then just continues to stare at me with a smug look. There is also a mop bucket on the counter with dirty water next to the coffee. Mind you, this is an hour before close. I was very polite while ordering, made no mistakes, and even put a tip on the order (which I wouldāve taken back if I could). While she was making my bagels, I used the restroom which was also sopping wet with no toilet paper. I had to transfer to the other stall to find a small bit of toilet paper. As I leave the bathroom I come to find the lady making my sandwich staring at me from around the corner with the nastiest look on her face instead of just making my sandwich. This job is not as hard as these people make it out to be. Theyāre completely terrible and miserable people. I wish I wouldāve got her name, but so was honestly afraid of her. After turning around when I came back from the bathroom, sheās walking back to my sandwich shaking her head back and forth. Then, once she finished she THROWS the bag at me and I still say thank you. She walks away and says nothing. Then, Iām sitting there washing my hands with sanitizer and she cannot stop staring at me with that awful face. This lady has a terrifying attitude and deserves everything that comes to her. She should not be working at this store any longer. If she continues to, youāre 100% gonna lose customers. Youāve already lost me and according to these reviews, youāve lost plenty of others. I love Einstein Bagels and am extremely disappointed I can never go back to this location. Awful,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI go here when I don't feel like driving to THB or Uber bagels, but after this experience I won't be eating here again. I ordered online and there is a "bagel with shmear" (cream cheese) option - except that even to choose PLAIN regular cream cheese it costs +$1.80. Hear me out. I got that, and noticed when I got home they give you almost no cream cheese even though you are PAYING to ADD it? Like it was not even enough cream cheese to cover the inner surface of the bagel which I think is ridiculous considering you have to pay for it, even if it's the plain kind. This isn't the first or second time this has happened here either. & I don't know who trained these people on how to spread cream cheese on a bagel but even that they somehow cannot do correctly???
Towson Hot Bagels in Towson and Uber Bagels in Cockeysville are both MUCH smaller local businesses than Einstein's... yet they don't charge for plain cream cheese, and also give you what you paid for. Einsteins is a huge chain and they can't make bagels right??
If you're looking for a good bagel and do not want to get ripped off, check out the other bagel spots in our area. This one will never be it
Edit: I do understand all of these issues don't pertain to just one specific location, so I'm happy to contact higher up regarding your failing...
