My wife & I purchased a Smith Bros sectional sofa & a Lakeside mattress about 18 moths ago, while our new home was under construction. Michelle helped guide us thru the many choices for both pieces of furniture & provided design assistance to ensure they would fit our floor plan.

The sectional sofa fit perfectly in our room; it is used daily and there are absolutely no signs of wear....we couldn't be happier with our purchase.

Unfortunately, we started getting back aches after a year or so on the new mattress, and, discovered low spots/sagging. We contacted the store & were directed to Mike to discuss our concern with the mattress. Without any hesitation Mike offered us an immediate pro-rated credit for the mattress and scheduled an appointment to select a suitable replacement.

Timing was perfect for us and we were able to get a significant upgrade on a floor model mattress at no additional cost!

I checked out several local furniture stores before going to Golden Fowler to try out the Fjord recliners. I have purchased all of our furniture over the years from Golden Fowler and have always been pleased. Due to needing comfort in my back I tried several Fjord recliners. All were pretty good but one stood out, the Fjord Stockholm power relaxer. It comes with a battery that typically needs recharging every 3 months or just plug it in without the battery. I just have it plugged in. This is my first power recliner and I love it. It has good lumbar support and an adjustable separate pillow with a weight behind the chair which allows for simple adjustment. It also rocks and pivots nicely. I have avoided these recliners in the past because they are expensive, BUT, for the comfort and quality they are worth it to me. Emma was my sales person and very good. She allowed me to check things out without hovering about. She is knowledgeable and a gentle soul. I will look to Golden Fowler for any future furniture or bed shopping. Thank you...

My wife and I just purchased a sofa and 2 leather recliner chairs from Golden-Fowler in Traverse City. Our experience was excellent. The design consultant that helped us, Teri Fowler-Stanchfield, is knowledgable, experienced and very pleasant to deal with. She is well versed in Golden-Fowler's stock and the furniture business in general. This allowed her to give us the professional design advice we needed to make our purchase choices.

The store and Teri are very customer oriented and provide outstanding customer service. After using her chair for a couple of weeks, my wife decided she did not like the automatic recline function and asked Teri if she could exchange it for an identical one that had a manual recline function. We were very pleasantly surprised when she and the owner, Mike, almost immediately agreed to the exchange at no additional cost to us.
