If you have loved ones of a minority race, do not bring them in this store. The 100% customer satisfaction is NOT guaranteed. If they can't scan their own product...They will continue to check out customers and not even look at you till you ask for a manager. Then the manager will come up and laugh at you while asking what the situation is. Then they involve other store members to escalate a situation instead of just apologizing and de-esculating/ resolving the issue. The manager proceeded to tell us my husband made the original girl cry.(just for asking for a manager) That was the furthest thing from resolving the issue, or understanding the customers perspective at all. Then was told by a worker named dee that she didn't know what and didn't care what my husbands & childs race is, After i explained he was being treated differently. My 8 yr old daughter is confused why we were treated that way and why they were so mean, and why they gave her mean looks. To top it off she didn't want to leave the store cuz usually they give her a candy and acknowledge her when she is there, so she was dragging her feet wanting a sucker, while workers continued to escalate the situation even while trying to leave the store. My husband and child have dual citizenship to Aotearoa & In the 13 years we have been together i have never been so disrespected by a store. We expected the store manager to resolve the issue the next day. He did not, he said my husband isn't allowed in the store anymore but was concerned when he found I had recorded the situation. But since they are privately owned, it's up to the store owner if they accept racial discrimination in their store, that's what corporate told me. So home depot, you now have a life customer, and we will spread the word to the polynesian community that they are not welcome at this tremonton ACE store. The ace hardware in logan owned by lee's treats my husband like family i recommend taking the trip to that ACE, but since they are still ace we will be going to home depot now. Also when i got home there was additional product in my bag I didn't ask for,they said i was welcome to return it by myself no child or husband. Why would i want to go back into a store that treats people that way. Just because my husband is 6'7" has cultural tattoos & brown, does not mean he gets to be treated as a monster. There was no threats, no yelling, just a basic complaint that could have been easily resolved with compassion and basic customer service skills but instead was escalated by staff and their disgusting behavior was justified not corrected, so they will continue to handle basic...

It was a ace brand a hour later I went back to return it the cashier ask me if I wanted a new one I said no it was so crappie it just burned through the wood. I had brought a piece of flooring to prove my point. ( the package said no money back only replacement I foolishly did not read this. But not one person brought this to my attention). She called the asst mgr over. Who after 20 min called the store mgr over He listened to them then turned to me and said "what you cut all the boards you needed to now you are trying to return it" I have had this blade for a hour it cost 10 dollars I paid a front room kitchen and hall. I got my ten dollars back after a few minutes of telling them what I thought. Stupid stupid people I was wrong it stated it plainly on the package but to make rude comments was inexcusable...

I had to ask where to find them so we didn't keep them even longer... and although they were past closing time the representative was kind and patient and showed me right where to find bags, and then it took me another few minutes to pick the right ones, and THEN we headed up to check out and the cashier was also friendly and not irritated that it was a good 10 or more minutes past close. That stood out to me because that's not usually the case, people can be quite rude and impatient when it comes to getting customers out and getting the doors locked the very second the clock...
