Crossroads Estate Sales — Local services in Troy

This was a fun estate sale in that we got to walk through a historical home and see not only the contents for sale, but the beautiful bones of the house itself! But other than that, I have mixed feelings about the sale.

I did get what I wanted--the rose colored pieces--and even picked up some other things as well! However, when I got home I found that the crystals had not been removed and the entire objects had simply been rolled in brown paper. Luckily nothing broke, but it did make me wonder. about their attention to detail and desire to please their customers. The ladies at the point of sale were the ones who dropped the ball in that regard, and in general were none too pleasant to interact with either.

Not a big deal, but still. Going to sales is a hobby for me--not a way of making a living. So interacting with pleasant people is a part of the day I enjoy!

Will I avoid their estate sales in the future? No. Did my experience inspire me to make a special trip to their Troy...

Becky and her team went above and beyond, making a deeply challenging time far less difficult.
