Please beware. Prices are subject to change by volunteers. My experience was not so positive. When looking to purchase tiles, I was unaware that prices were posted. I asked a volunteer what the price was. She looked up item on google and said the item must have slipped through. What was supposed to be a $10 purchase for tiles was changed to $40. I proceeded to speak to the manager regarding the situation. Stating that since price was posted, I did not feel it was right for them to change the price. It was definitely their error, and I asked for them to honor the original price. I was totally gaslighted by the management. I was treated as though I was the problem. I felt as though I was treated like a thief. In the past, I have served on the marketing committee for Habitat for Humanities, and I am happy I had the opportunity to do so. Read moreBe careful as not all of their items are worth the value. I purchase two decent condition toilets from them for around south of $90 tax included, and still had to purchase universal ring/flush kits... Well, turn-out I could get brand-new higher quality push-button ADA-approved toilets from Menards at around 2/3rds the price and still got 11% off as it was a sale weekend, plus another 3% from my CC company BOA just by using their CC - that's 14% off an item at Menards that was already at a bargain price. Hence, do yourself a favor and shop around... I have since never returned to the Habitat has I have figured that the majority of their items are rather pricey for being used so you're better-off...
Read morekeyword Delusional! Pricing is insane. They make Goodwill look like a bargain store. Went in here twice recently. Staff was not friendly at all or welcoming. So that's a issue right there. I checked out some doors and clearly mice or another animal had chewed them. I've been to the one in Urbana and it's nothing like this one. Their Prices are reasonable. Here prices on everything were just too high! They had a old office chair for $400. Places need to realize they are not Ebay! Very few thrift stores are actually...
