The Cellar by Bottle No. 121 — Restaurant in Troy

This isn't near my house, but a friend who lives up this way had mentioned it. I decided to stop on a trip to see how good it was. We tried a small taster of 4 beers that they had on tap (1 ounce tastes). Excellent choices on their taps and in the store, and the guy behind the counter was very helpful without being intrusive. Ended up finding something that I wanted to take home in a growler, and several bottles of other excellent choices. It's not a huge store, but the selection that they have is excellent. Small import wine, beer store with taps. The owner knows where everything is at and has a lot of the different canned beer from Ohio breweries, i.e... branch and bone, seventh son, toxic, warped wing, etc. I've been shopping here for a while. The only downside, which isn't their fault, is the construction on the main street that leads into their business. Troy owes them money for disrupting business....

I wish I could give it 10 stars. I’ve been here three times and I have enjoyed every experience. The owner and his wife are sweet, caring, and passionate about their business. It shows in every area (even the restrooms). I’m pleased with the inventory (imported beer) , wine, and tap selection. I tried a few snacks and by far the cheesesticks and queso bites are my faves. I’ll be back...
