Kendra Scott — Local services in Troy

My partner and I stopped in here after a long week, and a long day for him. He worked a nine-hour day and still wanted to take me to Kendra Scott. It was a horrible experience. We both work in customer service in department stores, the most we could say it "was not a good experience." Of course, we both are not well off, and we don't dress the part to be inside the store, but sometimes my partner does like to treat me. We went in there for a birthday coupon, and we waited around the color bar area for a few minutes which was fine, the two girls were busy having a conversation. That's okay though it gave me time to decide what I was wanting. The girl finally came over to help and she was trying to pawn off this color-changing mood ring rock on me, I am not going to lie, I was not interested and said it three times but she continued. I was stuck between two rocks and finally decided. She reminded me almost 10 times that there is an additional fee, yes we are aware. We order online, we shop at the Knoxville store once a year. We know. I acknowledged it and said I understood. She kept repeating "You do know there's an additional fee" Yes, we are aware. I understand going through your lines and letting a customer know a few things, but it was like a broken record. I was using my birthday coupon and she mentioned the stupid fee again, I said I was using my birthday coupon and I knew it didn't stack with the rock. It normally just takes it off the necklace part of it. She hit me with "I am not doing the math for you, I have been here since noon." I don't know what to say besides, congratulations on your short shift considering it was only 5:40p. I do understand some days are harder than others, but saying you don't want to do the math for a customer seems.....odd to me. Especially when it wasn't asked, it just seemed like a snarky comment. I was just excited to use my birthday coupon. After this happened, we stepped away as she made the necklace. The girl at the register watched us like a hawk. There were other customers in the store. The other girl finished the necklace and placed it on the counter. They had a cute strawberry Kleenex box and it was adorable. I said it out loud to my boyfriend and the girl at the register grabbed the Kleenex box and whipped it at the wall behind her. I laughed at my boyfriend saying "Okay....?" and laughed because it was so aggressive and out of nowhere for no reason, well her reason was "I thought you were looking at jewelry on the counter and it was in the way." There wasn't anything on the counter.....Besides the return policy...It was just an odd experience and I don't think we will be returning. I was debating whether or not I should make...

Katelyn and her team at the Somerset location are amazing. I never heard of Kendra Scott before September of 2023 and since I have fallen in love with all their jewelry. June is my birthday and I was so excited to use the 50% off coupon. I went to the store at Somerset Mall yesterday to pick out my birthday gift to myself and picked out a beautiful pair of gold hoop earrings. The next morning I was very excited to show off my new earrings and went to get them out of my bag which I had all my purchases in from yesterday and realized my earrings were missing. Thinking I left the bag on the counter at the store I called as soon as they opened. They did not find the bag but were so understanding and felt terrible that this happened that they are mailing me a brand new pair at no cost!!!! This Mother's Day, my sister sand I decided to book the "Color Bar" event at Kendra Scott for our mom and aunt, and it was an absolute blast!

Chad, one of the Kendra Scott team members, was awesome to work with! From booking to helping us pick out the perfect pieces -- his enthusiasm made the experience even more enjoyable!

The event at Kendra Scott was Perfect - our mom and aunt were over the moon with their gifts/jewelry. Seeing their smiles was the best part of our day!

Overall, our Kendra Scott experience was fantastic. Chad and the team made us feel like VIPs, and we left feeling like we'd found our new favorite spot for gifts (and treats for ourselves too!).
