Stopped in yesterday, 2/26/25 for the 10# bag of chicken thighs, paid, got home (after closing hours) to find out that it was boneless/skinless breasts, not thighs. Called this morning right when they opened to see what could be done to make it right, and they asked me to BRING BACK THE BREASTS! Do they resell it? Do they assume people store it safely "on their honor"? Or do they just trash 10# of chicken? What if my ride home was 2 hours and the chicken sat at room temperature? Any answer to those questions sounds like bad health & safety practices, and bad business practices. I'm not trying to shiest them out of 10# of breasts that I didn't want in the first place, but also- what business wouldn't just say "keep it, we'll give you what you needed and call it good, just bring your receipt back." Mine was a five-bone (16 lbs) although I brined it in the frig for two days prior and slow cooked it at 250 degrees for four hours, then 550 degrees for the last 15 minutes. Our guest said it was the best they ever had. Try them out for your beef as well!
