The Detroit Shoppe — Local services in Troy

My two friends (Teenagers) and I had gone into the store and I had bought a hat. We had gone into a hallway in the store and tried on hats because there was a mirror there. We came back and hour later, and one of my friends had bought licorice. We were still trying on hats, then we had left. 10 minutes later, my parents were told by security that we were being rude in the shoppe. We then went up into the store because my dad wanted to find out what we did. When we had gone into the shop, they were standing there with a security guard. When my dad asked what they did, they said that we stole stuff from then and there were signs of theft. They said that we had been going into the hallway a lot and we had empty bags from the store, which were from us buying the hat and licorice. I will forgive and forget, but it isn’t right to accuse 3 teenagers of theft and not worry about the consequences they may face from their parents not...

Just purchased a red wings shirt because I didn’t think I had red wings apparel for the days game. Managed to find my old datsyuk shirt at home instead. I walk in 24 hours later and immediately ask where I can do a return, the gentleman immediately told me exchanges only. I was so furious I didn’t even say a word, walked out and threw the receipt in the trash directly outside their store because I know it means nothing. Their policy isn’t clearly stated anywhere but on the very bottom of the receipt in super small letters. Not the employees fault for stating that, but an awful policy. Should have a spot clearly indicating their return and exchange in store and on the receipt in the middle....

A lot crammed into a tiny space ..walked in hoping I'd find some Woodward Dream Cruise tee shirts. Unfortunately, they do not carry any. If you want a tee you gotta attend the festivities and buy it there. Although, I was told by the girl that works there, they do have a tent there and they sell merchandise as well during the festivities. To busy and crowded for my taste at the dream cruise. They do have some neat Michigan based stuff. Staff greet you as you walk in. Very friendly and very helpful and informative staff as well. Maybe they'll consider carrying Woodward Dream Cruise merchandise in...
