Elegant Plus Nails — Local services in Tucson

I had come to Elegant Nails for a mani-pedi. For my manicure, I was interested in one of several kinds of nail art that I had seen in an online instructional video. I showed them three different styles – any one which I would have been happy with, and each time they kept saying that they couldn’t do it. This baffled me, as neither the application techniques or the styles themselves were difficult – one was a basic chevron pattern, another was ombre with 2 colors of polish applied with a sponge, and the third was a marbleized pattern with 3 different colors dabbed on and “smeared”. I said that didn’t mind that they hadn’t done it before: were they interested in trying something new? They could follow the techniques exactly from the video. If it didn’t turn out, I was willing to compensate them for their time. Finally they did my pedi first (which was straightforward), and then told me to wait. So I waited. And waited. I was there for over TWO AND A HALF HOURS, while other clients came and went, and I apparently was waiting for the ONE lady who’d attempt what I was asking for. She finally sat me down and tried the marbleized pattern, using a different technique from the video. Unsurprisingly, it didn’t work. It occurred to me that my time might have been better spent experimenting on my own nails as I sat at the empty station during the interminable wait. I finally became fed up, paid, and left before my nails dried. If you looking for a basic mani/pedi, this place is fine. If you want anything REMOTELY creative, I’d suggest...

I walked in at the last minute with my daughter which was her first experience getting her pedicure done which the lady did a lovely job but when it came to myself I had a gentleman who just looked like he was irritated that we walked in I asked him for a acrylic big toe nail he proceeded to say you don’t need it just grow it out did I get what I asked for no I did not which was annoying then we start working on my full set .He started asking me when was the last time I got them done told him a year agai then he proceeded to make a joke oh you only get them done every year umm that was rude why even say anything then that’s when he started rushing I did not enjoy my experience at all seeing how he was rushing didn’t make my nails even length one nail is shorter then the rest it looks so disappointing I just wanted to get out of there trying not to get upset knowing my daughter was very excited that she was even in a nail salon never again going to this place worst experience I...

After trying to get my nails done all day. I was very disappointed that I was having trouble getting them done. After I went home I did some research and found this place elegant nails, went in . Tim was the one who did my nails, which he did a fabulous job, the nail were even, and not think like my last nail place, plus the right length too, I even got my first pedicure, I was so happy at how everything turned out. I will definitely be going back. This salon is my new nail place. The pedicure was just perfect. The salon is big and spacious, clean and neat. The staff are friendly and helpful. I ask which is better to do walk in or make appointment, I was told appointment. Next time I will, but for a Monday around 5:30 there were no one in the salon. ( doesn't mean that will happen...
