Los Betos — Restaurant in Tucson

I just went through the drive through with some friends and politely asked if we could have separate transaction. A rude gentlemans response was that thier lobby was open. Upon further questioning he clarified only 1 order per car. I told him no problem even though his rude demeanor didn't sit well. I ordered 3 burritos for me and my friends... he confirmed just 3 burritos. At check out instead of 3 burritos I was charged for 2 burritos and a combination plate #1 (costs 2.49 more after tax). After receiving 3 burritos I asked for a refund for the addition cost they over charged me. They handed me 2 dollars no change and tried to tell that was my refund. I explained he was a little short and a few moments later he returned with 50 cents. People make mistakes and I understand that... what I don't understand is being rude to me from the beginning possibly over charging me on purpose and possibly shorting me on the refund on purpose or lack of ability to run a register... for lack of better words the service and treatment where unacceptable... especially when I am unhappy and I'm the only one saying please...

Good food ONLY during the afternoons, but have gone to the 1st Av location on Saturday mornings and food is totally different and a ripoff. One Saturday morning I ordered and paid for 2 Carne Asada burritos at the drive through. Drove off and reached my destination and found 1-Chicken which was majority potato burrito and 1-chorizo-potato. Assuming I was given someone else's order, the following Saturday morning I ordered again and mentioned to the man at the window about the mistake of order from previous weekend. He did not seem to care nor did he apologize, just said he wasn't there last Saturday (but I think it was the same guy). The other male working overheard and walked over to the window just to check me out as it did not appear there was any other purpose to walk over to the drive thru window because the other guy was also doing the cooking. This week I ordered the same 2- Carne Asada burritos but there were about 3 pieces of meat in each with majority potato and lots of cheese. Pretty hefty price for a potato and cheese burrito! ...

I left 4 stars bcs when its good its good but unfortunately its not consistent. I love their carnitas, its crispy on the outside and juicy and flavorful on the inside but today i ordered the carnitas burrito and it tasted completely different. Almost like turkey. It tasted like shredded turkey from a crock-pot. So I dont know if they cooked it differently or used an entirely different meat but either way id suggest a menu item be prepared the same consistently Service is good and Ive been going to los betos since the 90's but i no longer order carne asada as i used to bcs their steak is literally the chewiest so thats how I discovered the carnitas which is usually really good, aside from today which I didnt like at all. I dont want a turkey (tasting) burrito ever!. Its usually really good. Their breakfast burritos are also really good as They somehow keep the bacon crispy within...
