We had a mishap with our food. I asked for no fiesta strips to be put in the burritos we ordered. It was the last big of our money we had to spare to get something to eat before going to do some delivery driver stuff. Well after finding the request had been not only ignored but it had been packed full of strips. I called and informed them. The very rude- (get me off the phone fast, didn't care about what they did wrong, young lady) told me if I was close by to bring it back with the receipt and they would remake our food.
Upon getting there I tell the very large inconsiderate drive thru worker that we had a mistake that needed to be corrected. He very rudely and with no sympathy or understanding but annoyance in his voice that suddenly changed from his would be friendly greeting. Said very mono toneish "ok pull up to the window."
When I did he asked to see the receipt which I showed him he asked for the food......according to health codes a restaurant isn't allowed to take food back and after working in the fast food industry for years I know that all they will do is throw out the food that granted my best friend didn't want to eat with the strips in it. However I could have given that food to my husband.
When I refused the man took the receipt and went to talk to someone in the back which turned out to be the young lady I spoke to on the phone.
She tells me it's TacoBells policy that they take the food back and if in not going to do that then she wasn't going to remake our food.
I told her I'm sorry but no it's a healthcode violation and I'm not going to do that. I asked for my receipt back as I need those as proof for tax purposes and even if I don't it's mine and not hers!
She just told me no, nope nuh ah. The proceeded to shut the window in my face and put the lock up.
So I wrote to Taco Bell right then and there to complain.

Read moreBeyond garbage experience tonight. The order was not packaged per standards which made it confusing. We ordered two custom $5 box meals through the app plus two extra tacos. The box meal sides were tossed in a bag all haphazardly and everything else was stuffed into one box. I ordered two different box meals for two households expecting the meals to be packed as they should be. When I asked where the other box was she went to check and came back to say her manager told her it’s all there. I counted the main items in the box and counted 5 which meant 1 thing was missing. I questioned this again and the cashier kept whispering she knew items were missing from my order and how sorry she is. I refused to leave until the order was fixed. The manager comes back after repacking the items the way they were supposed to be and said in the weirdest, skin crawling condescending manner that he hopes I have a better night.
We got home and found a chaotic and gross mess in the boxes with the wrappers being open and orders wrong. My mom was so livid that I couldn’t stop her from going back to complain. My mom pointed out that we requested no lettuce and that there was lettuce and the manager told her they were right and us wrong because we never made a request.
We are disputing the charge with our bank and sent an email to corporate. This is not how you treat customers. Sure, it’s fast food but people are people and you treat one another well.
All in all, this was a waste of 15 min in a drive thru (longest wait I’ve experienced ever at Taco Bell).

I order my food and every time i get shorted on my order and i always have to have my son run in and get my food i already paid for that they simply ripped me off on!!!!! I'm sick of this sht and all the workers do not know what they are doing at all how did they get hired with noooo training?????? Then they all including the managers they all treat the customers like we are a piece of dirt!!!! they are extremely rude to everyone!!!!! I would recommend you to drive somewhere else and eat at another Taco Bell!!!! it would be worth your time trust me!!!!!! if i could tell the corporate office what they are doing i would tell them to reconsider firing all that workers there and get some knowledgeable workers that dont jack everyones food from them that they paid for!!!! please get right before the law suite start happening!!!!!
