Close to Tucson Mall, this is by far the best of the 3 Fili's we've tried. Newer one in Vail does not have a salsa bar or self serve fountain drink. This one has both and an amazing 'Full' Salsa Bar, which they were constantly refilling when we were there, 6 salsas and a yellow mayo or cheese sauce in solos?, fresh cukes, pickled carrot/onions, roasted onions & Serranos, lemons, limes, and a huge self serve Fresh Chips box on the counter. Adobada is killer, no one else's has come close to the flavor bomb here. Burritos and tacos are jam packed with protein and the prices are on par. It's our destination Fili's and worth our drive, 20 miles to get our Mexi fill :D The chicken taco came as a single hard shell, and adobada came with 2 soft tacos. I took one home, so filling. There are a few flats screens inside dining area and plenty of tables and booths that all seemed nice and clean. Compared to many other fast mexi places, there were consistent inside diners vs just take out and drive thrus. Need a key for bathrooms 😉 Can't say enough how pleasant it is to dine at this Fili's, it's #1, Thank You!!

I am handicapped and have a service dog, and when I was at the Filibertos at 635 E Wetmore Rd., I was eating, and the manager came up to my table and told me I had to leave because of my dog. I explain to him that he was a service dog and he said he didn’t care and said I had to leave anyway. I asked for his name he refused to give it. I asked for his supervisors name, and he refused to give that as well. I also tried to show him the ADA laws, but he refused to even read them, and walked away from me. He refused to talk to me. Except to say my dog had to go outside. Here is a picture of a manager.

Cashier didn’t want to honor my full order because I used a promo code through DoorDash. She said it costs Filiberto’s money by people using DoorDash discounts. Well, the receipt provided on the order states the promo is paid by DoorDash and not the restaurant it is used at. So is DoorDash providing false info or is the Filiberto’s cashier a liar? Picture of the receipt is uploaded here. I’m not one to ask for the manager, so I just left there with a partial order that ended up costing me more. Last time I ever visit this place.

One visit , 1 simple basic common item order but many reasons I'll never come here again:..But 1)They refuse to use thier valid coupons "the other location will, we won't" 2) They way overcharge any 'extras' (that many won't charge extra at all) like $2 cheese (not extra cheese , just cheese), 3). get this - $1.86 for TEAspoon sour cream 4) grrrr 10 Times I asked nicely and as explanatory as possible for lettuce and tomatoe/ she says Pico?/I said no, I ask again, this loop 10 times. She acts like she finally understood . But I end up charged another get this- $1.86 for this PICO that I did not want. (Btw, Pico has no lettuce) and got no lettuce and tomatoe. . The fact besides being led via coupon that is never meant to be used, in these covid times we are trying to help keep local businesses afloat. All places I've done this have done me good back. Except Filabertos on Wetmore. In every way possible. What ate me up most (pardon) is as I drove off, I felt once again so bad of all the American English speaking restaurant workers who many would probably love to be able to work..instead, we have to not have feelings about trying just to order one of the most common items at a Mexican restaurant (lettuce) but the Mexican woman at the only window, the only order taker, has unbelievable NO EnGLISH I have ever had to try to communicate with for any transaction. I dunno..clearly, the mgr and Filabertos cared less of any/all the bad or unfair affects from this, which it did . (I know the mgr heard and didnt intervene because she (mgr) had ,immediately voiced 4x, NO coupons are honored! , and again the amount with tax even, for the sourcream. Regardless of her reasons, it's not fair at all to anyone who has to order from you this way, and even pay for her wrong interpretation of English word that's on thier small menu .

In every way theyre only in this for unfair profits. Oh I called after but was curtly told I could "Come back NOW (ie, leave home/drive 7blocks), bring all of it (burro and pico) for JUST an EXCHANGE of the PICO" !!!" . (Not refund, mind you, of Item I clearly not want). Again, it's not the $8 for the $4 bean burrito. Rather its in all the ways it became so. I'm glad it's a most simple example of business like Filabertos on Wetmore that shame what the decent fair restaurants here are working so...

I usually like this place but this was the final straw. I live close by and stop by here often. One of the ladies at the drive thru at night is the worst. At first I thought it was a simple mistake but after this time I know she is purposely doing it. Every time I ask for red salsa and she always put way less then what I ask for or just puts in the wrong ones. I have asked both in English and Spanish and even put up the amount of fingers of the amount I want. Well I knew it was her again and specifically asked for 4 red salsas even after I got my order so she wouldn’t get it wrong. What does she do? Walks over with two of them puts it in my bag and says thank you, shuts the window and walks away. I didn’t even have time to ask for more lol. Now at this point I know this is intentional. They have a salsa bar inside where u can get any amount you want. The inside is closed at night or I would have gone in. I didn’t know their watery salsa was so valuable to them where she does this every single time. Call me petty if you want but I just won’t spend my money here anymore because of her. All the other ladies here are super friendly and I never have an issue. There’s plenty of options near by where I can spend my money elsewhere. I’m sure no one there reads these or even cares, they will make their money regardless. If I’m spending 30 bucks and can’t even get 4 small red (watered down) salsas to enjoy my meal just a bit more then I don’t need come here anymore. ✌️good job salsa police! Updating my review! So the lady that was super stingy with the salsa doesn’t work there anymore and the employees now are the best!!! They aren’t stingy with the salsa one bit! For Mexican food that is fast and better quality this is my go to. Prices are a bit higher than other spots but it’s worth the extra price for the quality. Thanks for sharing the...

Initially I came in with a large order for a get together. I was missing a few items which made up two people’s meals. I called and a man, claiming to be the manager, answered the phone and asked me what the problem was. I explained and he stated that he remembered my order. He asked if I had my receipt and I stated I was never given a receipt. He joked and said that was “expected of his employees” but assured me it was okay and I could come and get the items within the week and just give my name since STAFF failed to provide me with a receipt but HE REMEMBERED my order. I came back today (within the week) and the same “manager” proceeded to berate me and chastise me for not having a receipt despite acknowledging he did in fact talk to me previously. Absolutely ridiculous and disgusting service. He essentially told me to F myself despite knowing everything. His coworkers were laughing in the background as he belittled me for not having a receipt he already knew I never got. I’m absolutely appalled by this and as someone with 8 years of hospitality experience under my belt I think you should be ashamed. If these are the kind of people you hire for MANAGEMENT positions I would seriously reconsider your choices. If I could submit this with negative...
