Kimpo Market, a family-owned gem, brings the essence of Korean culture and cuisine to Tucson. From the moment you walk in, you're met with the warm, friendly greetings of the owners, who run the store with genuine hospitality and a deep love and care for the business.
Kimpo Market boasts a well-curated selection of authentic Korean products. Fresh produce, traditional snacks, and essential pantry items like kimchi, tteokbokki, and a variety of noodles (all of which are my personal favorites) are neatly arranged, making it easy to find what you need. Their kimchi are my favorites, especially the ones that are made in house and are available on specific days of the week. I highly recommend the cucumber, radish, and of course the cabbage kimchi! It is easily one of my favorite kimchi I've ever had. It is fresh and has just the right amount of spice, heat and sourness. It is absolutely delicious!
The market's personal touch and commitment to authenticity make it a standout. The market's passion for sharing Korean culture is evident in their knowledgeable and friendly service. Whether you're a seasoned fan of Korean cuisine or a newcomer eager to explore, Kimpo Market offers a delightful and enriching shopping experience in the...

The store is in a plaza, easily visible from street. Storefront parking. A row of about ten spots, with a few neighboring businesses. There is more parking in the adjacent lot.
At first glance, it looks closed as all the windows are...
Read moreRead moreMe and my family just moved to Tucson couple of months ago. As you can tell by my name I am an Korean and I've been in to two Korean store and "Lee Lee's". Lee Lee's have most fresh ingredients and different products from different countries but they have very few selections of Korean food. At "Kimpo" they have lot more selections of Korean products and owner was very nice (My hubby isn't Korean and the owner talk to him more than he talk to me.) If you need fresh Asian ingredients such as meat, fish and vegetables "Lee Lee's" is the place to go but if you simply looking for Korean stuff I think "Kimpo" is the place you looking for. --- My English isn't very good and if I miss spelled or something pleas...
