This was our first visit to this location which they told us is only a few months old. My husband and I took our niece who loves this style of food as much as we do. We ordered 2 poke bowls and a spicy miso Ramen. As well as 3 boba drinks. The staff were friendly and the place was clean. It was not busy when we went right at opening on a Sunday.
My niece got a Rice poke bowl with bacon & tuna. She was unimpressed with the bacon but we both liked the Tuna. The rest of the ingredients were good and everything was fresh.
My husband and I split a rice poke bowl with salmon and crab meat. The salmon was a little less flavorful than thr tuna but was good. There wasn't a ton of crab but it was fresh and went well with the mix ins we chose.
They offer a variety of protein options, veggie mix ins, and sauces allowing for many variations on the bowls. You can get it as a salad or with rice. I do wish they had quinoa but its not a deal breaker.
We got the spicy miso Ramen to go as we were taking it to a sick friend. They packaged the soup well keeping the broth in a separate container from the veggies so everything was fresh. She enjoyed the soup and only said the marinated egg was a little too salty for her taste.
For the Boba we tried the Dalgona Coffee which was dark' creamy and tasted like a strong coffee. It is not a very sweet drink but comes with the brown sugar pearls. The Taro Zang Zang which my husband enjoyed. Pro tip don't forget to shake it up lol he said it was delicious and not as sweet as some other places. Lastly I had the honey do smoothie with strawberry bursting bubbles. It was sweet, creamy, & refreshing one of the better honeydew bobas I've tried.
It's not cheap but not too expensive for the type of food and drinks being served. It's worth it for high quality fresh ingredients. We will be back to try other items...
Read moreCome for the tea, stay for the existential crisis.
I ordered a rose bubble tea and a sushi burrito. The tea was lovely—light, floral, and not too sweet. I’d definitely get it again. The sushi burrito tasted relatively fresh, though I was sad to discover the jalapeños were seedless. As a spice enthusiast, this felt like a betrayal. Like being promised a dragon and getting a mildly annoyed lizard.
The cafe itself was bright and clean, but then I encountered… the staff.
Imagine if ennui had a face. Now, split it into two employees. The women behind the counter weren’t rude, but they also weren’t anything. No tone, no expression, just pure grayscale energy. They answered my questions like NPCs in a game whose script hadn't loaded. It was so surreal I almost laughed. Honestly, if this had been a scene in a deadpan indie film, it would’ve been gold.
Would I go again? Sure, for the tea—and the strange, captivating experience of confronting the spiritual void of late capitalism...
Read moreSpicy miso ramen - broth had good flavor, not really spicy and it wasn't as rich as other places. I guess you can say it's lighter! Noodles are yummy and chewy ~ Chasu was my fave and egg was perfectly cooked for ramen ^^ Brown sugar boba - I was a bit disappointed in this as it was in their special menu. Tasted like sweet milk. Boba didn't really have flavor but texture was nice ~ didn't tast much like brown sugar. Beef bowl - looks like yoshinoya!! Rice/meat ratio was definitely off. I wish it had more meat cause the bowl was literally just rice. Hubby says eat one part beef to 3 parts rice so you have enough beef for the full bowl XD Customer service was spectacular and the place was nice...
