the worst experience i’ve ever had. juanito was the guy who did my hair. when i first walked in, i LOVED the vibe and i had a feeling it was going to be a wonderful experience, but soon i realized i was dead wrong. i showed juanito a picture of the hair i wanted, and all the only problems he addressed was that he had to take more length of than i wanted. i said okay that’s fine. he never once told me he wasn’t going to be able to do the picture. i had virgin hair, so i was already scared about doing this. it was highlights. i was charged $200. i was not happy with the outcome at all. it’s literally streaks of yellow. uneven streaks, might i add. it’s not even slightly what i asked for. i was never disrespectful and went about my day. i called the next day to express my complaints with my hair and i spoke to the manager and we made an appointment to fix my hair. juanito texted and called me being extremely unprofessional and quite frankly just rude. telling me my hair was in bad condition anyways , my mom is “rude as hell” , that the boss doesn't like me (i’ve only been in there once and was nothing but respectful), and he told me my appointment was cancelled. they want another $75 to fix what they’ve messed up after i’ve already paid $200. NOT OK. i’m 17 years old, i’ve been saving money to get it done. if i was ever told it would be multiple appointments and nearly $300 i wouldn’t have even had any color at all, i would’ve simply asked for a haircut. i do not recommend going here , and i will continue to spread the word. (also , as i was sitting in the chair getting my hair done, the other stylists were talking about their previous clients and that is in no way okay. one lady was complaining saying she hopes she never has him again because he doesn’t talk. some people don’t like talking and that’s 100% okay. they’re there to get their hair cut, not talk. and another stylist was complaining about a girl that talked too much after she had left. beyond unprofessional. after i had left, i definitely felt as if they were all stuck up drama queens that talk about everyone behind...
Read moreI went in today for an appointment with Carol. I call the day before and asked if someone knew how to work with very thick curly hair. My haircut is called disconnected curls. When I googled salons who use Joico products this salon came up. I was excited because the web site said they offered razored hair cuts. I was sure they knew how to work with multi-textured. The receptionist said she would book me with Carol who had 20 years experience and was used to curly hair. Finally I thought. :) I brought my IPAD to show her pictures. I had washed my hair so it was damp. She picked up a curl like she didn’t want to touch it. I told her she could cut the length up to the shoulders. She argued with me and said we weren’t a good fit. I couldn’t believe it!! I asked her if she could at least trim my hair to make it neat. She went through a couple of methods to cut. I picked one. She said I had told her not to cut the length now I was changing my mind. I asked again if she could just trim my hair since I had driven and taken the time out of my day to make the appointment. She said I can cut your hair but I am not following someone else’s work and I don’t like someone telling me how to cut their hair. I left and felt AWFUL. I was looking forward to relaxing, getting to know my new stylist and walking out with a great haircut. I am a healthcare professional. We have to respect people even when they are rude, violent and dangerous. When I worked as a concierge for Marriott and Hyatt Regency we served clients who were loud, rude and unreasonable with respect. We had to it was part of the business and we may help the person turn their day around and have customers loyalty. Now the client has to conform to the business or they refuse to serve them. Unbelievable! The new business model in the...
Read moreFirst time going in and I had the best time! It was like being with friends. Allison and Jon worked together to give me just the cut I wanted. I hadn't done any hair services in so long because I have long thick hair that stylists want to taper down to a point at the end of my hair, which I hate. I actually had to grow my layers out from the last cut because it was so bad. I was elated when Allison finished. My hair came back to life! I don't know where it was hiding, but Allison found the bombshell Victoria secret Angel style somewhere in the heap of dry, split ended hair I came in with! Now its so easy to style, silky soft, and has so much movement to it. Not to mention she got rid of my dry scalp issue! Can I also add that she did a consultation, wash, cut and blow dry in just under an hour?! Thank you Allison! I'll be booking my next appointment with you and many more after! Amazing place, will...
