An Oriental Chi experience is hit-or-miss, depending partly on location & which practitioner works on you. On my last visit to the smaller of Park Place's two locations, next door to Dillard's, I requested the 45-minute back massage for $40.00. Near the end of the otherwise excellent session, I suddenly became aware of a second practitioner working on my feet. Only then was I asked if I would like the foot massage for an additional $20.00. After I paid the bill, the English-challenged cashier kept motioning towards the blank line on their copy of the receipt. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. I observed the gal who was to provide my massage take the sheet from the previous customer and spray it with disinfectant then try to cover me with it. I asked her to please use a clean one. She went to a chair and took another sheet which was damp.. I hoped it was just laundered not just sprayed. Massage was just ok, but unable to relax as the two therapists kept a conversation and laughing going on in their language. I went in to get a massage and came out of there in pain in my left shoulder down into my collarbone. I was not in pain there when I went in. It has been two days and I am still in alot of pain. The lady that did it at no time asked if the pressure was good or even said anything to me. She was busy talking to the other workers She would stop to get up to get stuff there for it took time away from my time.
