Boba Tea Company — Restaurant in Tucson

Honestly, the service here was a complete letdown. Not worth the money nor the experience. I was waiting in line to order and the staff member at the cash register turned his back on me and was joking and talking to the other two girls behind the counter. All of them made eye contact with me and the few people in line behind me and took their time laughing and talking before coming back to work. I got up to the register and they asked what I wanted. After I ordered a menu item the staff said they had no boba and couldn’t make my drink. I asked if they were able to make the drink without it and they said reluctantly said yes. They looked at their data pad and asked what I wanted again. Because obviously they hadn’t been paying attention to me in the first place. Then as I waited for my two drinks (not customized at all) the staff member left my drink on the back bar and only handed me one of my two drinks. I stood there and tried to talk to the two girls behind the bar and they made eye contact with me and would walk away before I could ask about my second drink. Finally I got their attention and pointed at my drink that they had obviously left on their back bar and forgotten about. I'd like to leave a review of Boba Tea Company's drinks, but after three attempts at the Park Place Mall, Tucson AZ location we STILL haven't been able to buy a drink. Each time we went there were 2-3 employees behind the counter gabbing, no one could be bothered to come take our order or even say hello. We would call a hello and 'excuse me, please can we order' and were ignored. The employees puttered around whiping down surfaces or simply standing talking, while we waited for 10-15 minutes before saying goodbye as we left, the employees just laughed and went back to talking.

I wondered why there was NO line when boba tea is HUGE in Tucson and the shop is in the middle of a heavy foot traffic section of the mall; now I know, the staff has killed any interest because Tucsonans don't respond well to rude or no service at all. I go to Sharetea USA all the time, every location has been beyond friendly, fast, and enjoyable. I wanted to give Boba Tea Company the same support, but as it stands I can't see ever spending...

The two girls working around 5:45 pm were playing around the entire time. They messed up one of our drinks. We ordered a large and a medium and they gave us two mediums. Our drinks were completely off. They tasted terrible. They poured the medium drink into a large cup and made more. The berry sexy was overly sweet and the jazzie has zero flavor.we went back to have them remake the jazzie and they said it had been made right, which in fact it wasn’t. The proportions were definitely off. Needless to say the Tucson mall location is wayyy better!

Update: 2/17/2022 This place continues to disappoint! Approached the counter only to find out there was nobody working. The place is “open” but nobody was at the counter. We waited for about 15+ minutes and nobody showed up. I understand if there’s a shortage of staff but shouldn’t there be at least one person at the counter?
