Great hotel, even though it can be expensive. The rooms are spacious (we had a bedroom and a living room), clean and the kitchen had almost everything we needed. Linens are very fresh. The rooms are great, no dust, smell good. The breakfast was great too. And the hot tub was an awesome thing to relax in after a full day of hiking. They also have carts for luggage, very convenient. I paid for it fully with Marriott rewards points (that I got as a signup bonus for an Amex card), so it was pretty much free, which was nice. Regular price might be steep (~$200 or more). Other than that, great hotel, highly recommend. And the hot tub and pool are open until 11pm, which is great. Jacuzzi was very clean and with not much chloride. The staff is very friendly. We needed aluminum foil for cooking, and they found it for us. That was sweet.

The woman who checked me in was wonderful and enjoyable. I don't remember her name but her name tag said team lead. The afternoon man with long hair was a bit argumentative when I explained that the key was not working so that was the disappointing part. Overall I would rate the room a 6 on a scale of 1 to 10. The bathroom could definitely use an update. The tub is extremely slippery and the wallpaper was water damaged and coming off the wall. It was noted that the carpet from the bathroom to the bedroom was fraying in addition to a cracked marble piece at the bathroom door threshold. It should also be noted that the beds are pretty hard. Oddly enough this hotel charges $5 a night for parking which is absolutely ridiculous considering there is plenty of parking in this area is nothing special.

We stayed at this hotel two nights (to and from Austin for Thanksgiving). On both occasions upon checkin, I mentioned we would like to use the Marriott Pet Friendly Rate of $5 per day plus a cleaning charge of $50 good from April 7, 2022, to April 6, 2023. . On Sunday, November 20, we were checked in by a friendly woman employee. When I showed the Marriott print out with the pet rate, she smiled with understanding of the rate. Nothing else was said. We checked out the following morning November 21 and presented a bill with $100 charge for our dog, I explained that I had requested the pet rate. The employee said this was the charge. When I asked for clarification, the manager stepped out of his office by the front desk, and curtly said his facility would not honor the Marriott discount. He did not apologize to us as Marriott Elite members, nor did we feel he valued our concerns at all. ||On our way back to California, we checked iin on November 29.. The same employee who checked us on the previous week was working. He was not welcoming to us, just very direct without so much as a smile. I explained I was requesting the Marriott Pet Friendly Rate, and he said the charge would be $100. When I asked for clairification, the manager sitting in his office by the front desk is listening and steps out and curtly says, "I told you last week that this is not our rate! " No smile, no apology, nothing to make us feel like valued Marriott Elite members.||As guests, we felt unwelcomed and that how we felt was not a concern of management at all. First time we have experience such guest relations at a Marriott property.||The hotel itself meets the expectations of a Residence Inn property. The rooms were clean, and the complimentry breakfast was...

Front desk is friendly, the suite I had was in excellent shape, everything was nice, and very, very clean. Plenty of lamps and lights and outlets, usb ports. My suite was decent size, had a full kitchen, plates, glasses, utensils, dish washer, big fridge with ice maker, freezer garbage disposal, stove, nice micro, pots, pans, just no oven. Living room on one side of suite, go through the door and you have bedroom with TV closet, sink area and toilet and tub shower which is separate with a door. Closet space, desk, table, couch, coffee and end tables, coffee maker, toaster, responsive heating and cooling Big, flat TV in bedroom and living room, cable. Free internet, decent speed, or high speed for small fee. Pool, hot tub, basketball, tennis court, parking, low traffic area, quiet. Complementary buffet every morning: scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, oatmeal, fruit, cereal, home fries, juice, muffins, waffles, coffee, etc. Help yourself, pile it high, roll back to your room, binge by the fire place, or stuff yourself at the tables and TV or eat outside. Not sure about room service but Mon, Tue, Wed nights is comp wine, beer, soda, finger foods. House keeping and environmental services are great. Small laundromat. Can't complain about anything. I'd recommend and stay again. Maybe I'll add photos later; now is not...
