ATL Wings. This was our first time here and we gotta say it was great!...we dined in so we explained that this was our first time and everyone was extremely helpful. The cashier help me and my wife decide and select the best sauce for our wings. They even allowed us to sample tiny bits of others to make.sure we were satisfied. This was very important to us because for a new wing place sometimes you can make a mistake on hot sauces! The food was fantastic with very fresh hot served wings that were well.sauced and very generous portions! The restaurant was clean and welcoming. The Bar was a great addition to compliment the food and vibes. Service was exceptional and the wings have made their good impression on us to definitely comeback for more....PEACE UP A-TOWN!!!
UPDATE: 05NOV2023 Im sorry ATL but as one of my favorite spots, i feel the need to provide an update whilst leaving my older review up because I really like ATL. But as of lately, the past three visits/ (one take-out) have been very disappointing. the quality we came to love from ATL has dropped. theu used to provide "saucy smothered" wings and now our fav. flavors are with hardly any sauce! we usually order 18 or 24 pc wings with 3 sauces such as lucky red and bbq etc. and we get dry or saucless looking wings! A few times we recieved wings with broken bones or "exposed meatless bone"(pictured in black square container) this is just Unappetizing...ATL please fix this consistant issue and we might give it...
Read moreThe spicy ranch is ENTIRELY more spicy than you can fathom. Unless they used the wrong dry rub, they were listed as nonstop spicy but they were much hotter than that. I can normally tolerate heat with no issues as I eat capsaicin daily (fellas look up the benefits of capsaicin — thank me later) but this spicy was unmatched. I was sweating out my ears forehead and head.
I think they should modify the level of heat described to fit a more consistent spice level as this was not for the faint. Next to the spice “level” it was described with to flames. That’s not consistent with the actually heat intensity.
Other than that, the way the chicken was cooked and timeliness of it coming out was appreciated. The chicken sandwich, however, was cooked to perfection but wasn’t nearly as hot but prepared similarly…Spicy.
The chicken sandwich bread was cold and thick. I can tell, had it been heated and some kind of sauce been added to it, it would’ve been a perfect balance of palatable heat and texture. Unfortunately, there was no sauce just the lettuce and pickles. The mustard and mayo was possibly expired as the mustard didn’t squeeze out of any of the packing.
Would I go back? Yeah, I’d try it again. Should you? Yeah, try it and post your...
Read moreI rarely post reviews, but as a self-proclaimed wing connoisseur, these were probably the best wings I've had in a long time. They had everything you look for in a wing: big with lots of meat, crispy, the sauce was just the right amount (not like other places that try to hide a bad wing under a ridiculous amount of sauce), their garlic parmesan had a beautiful dry rub (the way a garlic parm should be, not that Buff Wild Wings style mess).
I also tried their ATL, Sweet & Tangy, Xtreme Honey Habanero and my wife had some naked ones with the best honey bbq we've both ever had.
Btw review reader, take note of this for when you go, I accidentally discovered an amazing flavor, so good that I purposely made the mistake 2 more times...I grabbed an ATL wing thinking it was one of the naked ones and dipped it into the honey bbq sauce, and oh myyyyy, please try that!!!
The only bad thing is that I discovered this place on my last night of our Tucson trip, but I'll be back to try all the other flavors that I'm sure are amazing as well. Lastly, their customer service was top notch and very welcoming....
