I'VE BEEN GOING TO THIS RED LOBSTER SINCE IT OPENED. I USED TO TAKE MY MOM. THERE ONCE A WEEK FOR LUNCH. SINCE SHE PASSED 12 YEARS AGO I DON'T GO AS OFTEN BUT ANYTIME I TAKE A FRIEND TO LUNCH. I SAY, WHY DON'T WE GO TO RED LOBSTER? I LOVE THEIR FOOD AND I ALWAYS HAVE LEFTOVERS AND HAVE DINNER. THE NEXT NIGHT. ONE OF THE PEOPLE THERE THAT'S WORKED THERE A LONG TIME. I TRY TO GET HIM TO WAIT ON ME IF HE'S THERE. BECAUSE ANOTHER GIRL THAT USED TO WAIT ON ME WENT TO ANOTHER STORE, AND THEN SHE FINALLY HAD A BABY AND LEFT HER COMPANY, BUT SHE WAS GOING TO BE A NURSE UNTIL THE NURSING PROGRAM FELL THROUGH HERE. AND SHE USED TO JUST KINDA REALLY TAKE CARE OF MY MOM. WHEN WE CAME IN, SHE WAS SO SWEET AND YOUR PEOPLE JUST ARE SO WONDERFUL WITH OLDER PEOPLE AND NOW THAT I'VE BECOME ONE OF THOSE OLDER PEOPLE. I REALLY APPRECIATE THAT. HOW NICE ACCOMMODATING YOU ARE. I'M ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE WITH A WALKER AND KIND OF SLOW AND YOU DON'T PUSH ME TO FINISH MY FOOD RIGHT AWAY OR YOU KNOW SOMETHING OR IF I HAVE A QUESTION YOU'RE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND I'M SO GLAD YOUR STORE DIDN'T CLOSE. I KNEW IT WAS GONNA SAY OH, BUT I JUST PRAYED AND IT DID AND I'M GLAD IT DID. BECAUSE YEAH, YOU GUYS HAVE ALWAYS HAD GOOD FOOD. I'VE NEVER SEEN A FALL IN YOUR FOOD. YOU HAVE DROPPED SOME PRICES A LITTLE BIT. SOME THINGS ARE STILL PRICEY, I CAN'T AFFORD BUT I AM IN LOVE WITH YOUR POPCORN, SHRIMP AND YOUR GYPT THAT GOES WITH IT, AND THAT'S KINDA ONE OF MY FAVORITE. I HAD TO QUIT JUST BECAUSE I'VE GOTTEN OLDER HAD TO QUIT EATING RICH THINGS LIKE LOBSTERS. MAYBE ONCE A YEAR ON MY BIRTHDAY, I LET MYSELF HAVE A LOBSTER TAIL, BUT THAT'S ABOUT IT THESE DAYS I HAVE TO SAY TO THE JUST KIND OF THE SHRIMP AND THINGS LIKE THAT. OCCASIONALLY I HAVE SOME LOBSTER BIS TO BE NAUGHTY, BUT MY DAYS OF EATING A WHOLE LOBSTER. I THINK YOU'RE OVER 1 DAY. I'LL GET BACK EAST WHERE MY SON IS AND HAVE A LOBSTER. ROLL AGAIN. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THOSE. I'M SORRY THAT YOU DON'T HAVE THOSE FOR LUNCH. ANYMORE, I KNOW YOU MIX THEM WITH LOBSTER AND SHRIMP FOR A WHILE, BUT I USED TO LOVE THE JUST THE LOBSTER ROLLS THAT YOU MADE. HE GOT THE REAL LOBSTER ROLLS FROM BACK EAST AND HAD THEM WITH HOMEMADE POTATO CHIPS. THAT WAS ONE OF MY FAVORITE LUNCHES THAT YOU HAD AND I HAD THAT EVERY TIME I CAME IN FOR LUNCH. OCCASIONALLY I HAD THIS SALAD THAT YOU HAD WITH A BAY SHREVE, BUT BOY THAT LOBSTER SANDWICH WAS A BIG ONE FOR ME. I'M SORRY, IT'S DONE. BUT I KNOW THINGS HAVE TO CHANGE ON MENUS, BUT ANYWAY, I THINK YOUR STORE'S WONDERFUL. THE PEOPLE THAT WORK THERE ARE ALWAYS WONDERFUL AND CHEERY. WE ALWAYS GET OUT OF THERE TO DO SOME PRICE. I MEAN, SOUS FOOD ISN'T CHEAP ANYWHERE EVEN IF YOU BUY IT. SO YOU KNOW, IT'S JUST, I ENJOY IT WHEN I GO I KNOW I'M GOING TO SPEND A LITTLE EXTRA. THAT'S JUST WHAT I EXPECT. BUT FOR GOOD SERVICE, GOOD FOOD AND GOOD ATMOSPHERE. IT'S WORTH IT FOR ME. THANK YOU FOR STAYING IN BUSINESS.GOD...

Took my mother Friday for her birthday. Arrived at 600. At the host station, Lana the server threw a little fit that no one was sitting at her tables and that other waiters were taking care of her tables so she wasn't going to wait on them anymore. The hosts were trying to talk to her and she kept talking over them and arguing. One host gave up and gave us her. Already a horrible impression.

614 we were sat down. We ordered our drinks and apps and I asked to go ahead and put in an order for my child. She said ok we will get it out. Came back 10 minutes later to tell me that they can't do any kids meals and have to order an adult menu item for him instead. I said fine. We put in order for the table.

640 we got our apps and bread with our drinks.

650 Lana came back to say that my mother needed to pick out sides. Took her 40 minutes to realize she didn't even get the full order even though my mother had already told her what sides

730 my son gets food.

815 we get part of our meals. No one gets any sides. We all had ordered them. Asked for our sides and got an attitude because 'the kitchen is just backed up'. A 2 hour wait time and we don't even get all our food. We said give us the bill and come to find out, Lana had charged us even more than was supposed to (talking around $40 more) for things we didn't get. Talked to a manager and it was a slap in the face to have them say the kitchen is just backed up--while we sat there waiting, 2 tables by us had come in after us and had already eaten and left before we had food.

Horrible service. Horrible unseasoned food. Overcharging. Outright lying about kids menu and refusing to get us anything from it for surely a bigger tip.

I will say kudos to the bartender who was great and the hosts for everything. The hosts actually checked on us because our server sure didn't. The host came back three times to check on us while who knows where...

My mom recently came to town to visit us as i am stationed here with my husband and we are expecting our second child. We wanted to get dinner since we havent seen her in a while because of covid. We showed up at 6:20pm the hostess said it would take around 20 to 30 minutes to be seated. After 45 minutes they informed us we were waiting on a party at a table to leave before we could be seated. The party was just getting their dessert and did not look close to leaving soon at all. Meanwhile other people were getting seated before us. We were a party of 3 with two small children. My husband had to ask to be seated at a booth and finally after another 5 or so minutes we were accommodated. We sat down at the table and got our order taken about 7 minutes later. Another 15 minutes passes and just as we were about to ask were our drinks were our waiter jake finally makes his appearance. The drinks that were served were not what we ordered and we had to ask another person who wasn't our waiter to please bring the right ones. After sitting at the table for 40 minutes we finally saw our food coming out. The food that we ordered had multiple mistakes and they forgot my sons meal entirely. The only positive takeaway was the manager on duty. She was very apologetic and comped our meal after my mom told her about how we had been treated since getting there. I expect more from a dining restaurant that charges close to 30 dollars a plate. The waiter should not run past the table and call over his shoulder if everything is good.. he didn't even stop to give us a chance to respond. He only started coming to the table at the very end of our meal, most likely because he had been talked to by management. Also I feel the need to mention that it was not crowded, even by new covid standards. Im disappointed and will think twice next time I go out...

I just recently went here with my mother for a mother-daughter night out and we had the best experience we’ve ever had in Tucson. We started with the host Brock, who welcomed us with a big O smile and took us to our table promptly. Our server was Dean who went above and beyond for us the entire night. He had us laughing and did a good job explaining the new menu. He told us how he’s getting ready to move to Georgia and I felt so sad that I wouldn’t get to visit him at this location again, but also so excited for him. We had such a good experience, I asked to talk to the manager, who was Scott and he was very pleasant and easy to talk with. My mother and I noticed big changes to this restaurant since the last time we had been in everyone is working hard to make it special for every table and that’s obvious. The food was prepared outstanding so of course I had to ask for the cooks names. Special thanks to Buddy, Eric and Memo! The food was the best I’ve had at a red lobster. We truly enjoyed this experience and I had to make sure to leave a review. Red Lobster has been in the news a bit lately which has made it seem like a dying brand but I can say for sure this was by far the best dining experience I’ve had in Tucson in a very long time and can’t wait to go back. Thank you to everyone.

The staff were for the most part friendly and attentive, wasn't too busy... we arrived around 6p on a Sunday.. he ordered the Lobster, Shrimp and Salmon and I got the Bar Harbor Lobster Bake, with the Tomato Caprese as a side with was 2.50 extra... more on that in a moment. He had Iced Tea and I had hot tea.. the tiny sugar packets were difficult to open and more fake sugar than real was stocked.. we asked for more but she brought only 3 more little packets after she refilled both teas.. I had to pay for a whole new drink since the tea bag couldn't be reused.. talk about UPcharge!! Now to the upcharged salad side... it was way smaller than the house salad and was imo not a caprese salad without basil, it was heavy on the balsamic and mini cheese balls to tomato ratio was way off... not worth the extra 2.49. The entrees came and of course they never look the same as the pictures... but they lacked taste, the Bar Harbor all the seafood was bland and seemed to have boiled in the pasta water.. no seasoning... his plate was basically the same, if it weren't for the infamous biscuits I would have tasted it a 1 star.

The only reason I say 4 stars instead of 5 is that Red Lobster used to be the place to go for seafood, but the restaurant chain has failed to evolve in any way over the decades. Walking in today is like it was back in 1990. The two times we've been, once on a Friday evening and another for lunch on a Tuesday, the restaurant atmosphere was way too mellow. There are no new gimmicks to catch up with the times. No QR code menu options? No entertainment of any kind? No "pay at the table" kiosk tablet? There was the traditional lobster at the entrance but maybe add a small tv to show a short video of the process from the capture of the lobster to arrival at the restaurant for kids to watch and get excited? Add more kid-friendly activities to bring the families in? Add a water tank with kid magnetic fishing poles to catch magnetic ocean toys while waiting for the food? The restaurant is huge! Maybe families on one side and casual mellow diners on the other side? Really just needs more inventive ideas to bring more people in for a more interesting seafood world experience...
