Let me preface this by saying, I understand I went to Peter Piper Pizza so my expectations were not set extremely high to begin with. However, any time I spend money on something, I expect to atleast minimum receive what I purchased. That did not happen and the employees working refused to give me the pizza and appetizer I ordered. I visited the Peter Piper Pizza on Broadway 05/13/22. When I arrived there were maybe 5 other families in the facility. When I was at the register I learned that they have game cards instead of tokens. They encouraged me to purchase the points because they did not know how to load the hourly game play and it was more difficult for them to do so. I advised i didn’t mind waiting since that would be the most beneficial for my children. This took approximately 30 minutes to load due to a new girl training and having to wait for other team members to help. I then ordered an XL NY 3 Cheese and Pepperoni and fried zucchini. Total for my order was $88. After paying and walking away I realized the only receipt I received was with the time punches added to the game card. I immediately went back to the cashier and she said that she threw away the other receipt. She checked the register and told me my order number. After playing games with my kids, I realized I did not hear the order called and went to check, the young man at the pizza counter said that they were already in the 150s and asked to see my receipt. After explaining what happened, he said there was nothing he could do because I didn’t have a receipt. I pointed to the young gal who took my order and said she threw the receipt and he said my order was gone and nothing could be done. He asked what I ordered and I told him to which he said yeah, that’s not being made because I didn’t have a receipt. I started getting frustrated at this time. If a receipt is needed to pick up pizzas at the window then my pizza would have still been sitting there. I’ve never had a worse experience, I communicated my frustrations of not receiving the food I paid for and the workers did nothing. I did not receive my food and I will never be back to that location. The management needs to do a better job training. The entire experience at this location was a nightmare. I’ll stick to the Peter Piper Pizza on Ina. The workers are always kind, professional and friendly. Managers there frequently ask how the guests how it’s going and I have never not received the food that was order. This experience was terrible. Do not recommend and would choose any of the other...
Read moreI know an individual who works at the Peter Piper Pizza off of Broadway across from Park Place Mall. One day I decided to drop in and place an order and surprise them when they got off work. Initially, the atmosphere was exactly what you'd expect-- loud games, loud kids, drunk parents who can't read the signs requesting they don't drag their food and drink everywhere. But again, to be expected, right? No one reads anyway, right?
However, apart from seeing a child no older than 4 wandering around flipping the bird at who-the-heck ever (lmfao, the idiocracy these days - way to go, your kid's a winner,) the cashier was a young gal in makeup who rushed through the order and could not return a smile. In addition, I took notice that an individual - clearly in management/supervision - with a name tag that read "Abbi" was staunch-faced, held no smile the entirety of my visit, and was hardly a good example of what a customer-facing team member should be. So I see where "Young Gal" got it from. As a patron who also works a fast-paced and high-volume customer service/supervisory role in 2 large dining halls, my customers don't receive my ire or any untoward faces -- they get service with a smile. So come on, Abbi, get with it. Turn that frown upside down, huh?
The zucchini fries were o-kay - not much to write home about for the price of them. The ranch was decent. The ICEE I purchased looked like someone had barely put any in and stabbed it multiple times with a straw to make it look like there was more; there was almost no flavoring-- for the majority, it was basically ice and hardly up to standard for a decent ICEE. I might have enjoyed a cup of ranch dressing more, if I'm honest.
I could also add that one of the kids in the back touched his face with a gloved hand and went back to what he was doing with food, so - haha - you're lucky I didn't consume his pathogens enough to have to call the health department. (He was a nice kid though.)
The best part of my visit was having a booth to myself, feet across to the other seat, while folks came in looking for a place to sit in this crowded, disorganized, Backrooms-esque hellscape. Oh, and leaving -- I really enjoyed that part too.
Maybe next time I decide to visit the customer service will be a bit...
Read moreI gave this Peter Piper four stars because they did a pretty good job when I went there. The restaurant was clean and organized there was ample parking in the parking lot. Also most of the staff was pretty friendly except for the guy at the ticket counter who was getting annoyed at the kids cuz he kept buying candies and I guess they have to count each candy out and I can see in his face that he was not having it. All the games were in working order except for the little go-kart thing in the corner it said it was still under construction but it looked like it was just turned off to me. It was nicely decorated I think they were having an event for kids and before we had left it did get packed full of kids from some school or some group. The pizza was fantastically cooked Peter Piper is the only place that I ordered double cheese and double sauce because I just like a juicy Pizza but nowhere else makes it like that how Peter Piper makes it so it's the only place I order it like that. The attendant was very attentive she kept coming to our table to clear off the trays of pizza. we were there for an impromptu birthday party so we forgot the lighter for the candles for the cake but the guy heard that we didn't have a lighter and he voluntarily brought us a lighter without us even having to ask him so that was great service right there. It was my first time here knowing that they have the cards to play games instead of the tokens so that was new to me it's more like round one where you just have to load the card with either time or tokens I guess. If your kids get along all you need is one card don't fall for buying multiple cards you could just switch off. I like this location because they have tons of TVs and we were able to watch the Diamondbacks and enjoy our pizza and have some fun so yeah four stars to this place good job Peter Piper's. I would recommend this location because it was less busy than most other Peter pipers which is weird because it is right across the street from the mall so I would have thought the opposite. One last thing I forgot to mention earlier, the restrooms were very clean and clean restrooms speak volumes for...
