I had just finished shopping at Once Upon a Child next door because my daughter is starting preschool soon. While walking, I noticed this shop and wanted to come and take a look. As soon as I walked through the door, one of the employees asked to grab my bag full of children's clothes to keep in the front of the store, assuming I was trying to steal. There was no welcoming in or asking if i needed assistance finding something. I noticed immediately the customer in front of me (white) was able to keep her hand bag with her while browsing the store comfortably. We were followed and questioned to the point that one of our group left and another stood at the front of the store and waited. I spent over $100 and another person in our group spent more than twice what I did. When we all met outside of the store, we shared our experiences that were likened to the point of harassment.
