This is an updated review after the owner misrepresented my experience online, further highlighting how unprofessionally this business is run.
I recently had a facial here, and while the treatment itself was fine, the overall experience was uncomfortable, chaotic, and far below professional standards. The session lasted over 2 hours—much longer than what I had signed up for—with at least 30 minutes spent on the esthetician explaining products in detail. However, none of these products were shown or offered afterward, making the lengthy explanations feel unnecessary and entirely sales-driven. It was clear that the focus was more on promoting the owner’s skincare line than on providing a relaxing, client-centered experience.
The lack of organization was apparent from the moment I arrived. There was no front desk staff, which was clearly a cost-cutting decision by the owner. This led to complete disorganization—so much so that my husband, worried about how long the session was taking, had to rely on a UPS driver outside to suggest someone might be inside. He made several attempts to get assistance before finally getting confirmation that I was still in the session.
During the facial, I was pressured multiple times to consent to having my photo. I explicitly wrote “no” on the consent form before the session began, but the esthetician claimed that my written “no” somehow meant “yes.” This blatant disregard for my consent was completely unprofessional. Despite my refusal, the esthetician continued pressuring me and even claimed that I would not be allowed to return if I didn’t sign the release. This made the entire experience incredibly uncomfortable.
The esthetician, who appeared very young and inexperienced (likely 18 or 19), also kept leaving the room during the session, which made it hard to relax. At the end of the treatment, she took a long time to return, leaving me waiting in the hallway. When she finally came back to check me out, she brought no products to show or offer, despite spending so much time talking about them during the treatment.
After I left, I discovered that the owner had badmouthed my husband for trying to contact me during the excessively long session. Instead of addressing any of the valid concerns professionally, she misrepresented what happened online in an attempt to save face.
For anyone accustomed to upscale spa treatments, this place will be a major disappointment. The disorganization, lack of respect for client consent, and pressure tactics make this one of the worst spa experiences I’ve ever had.
