First time going to Gearhead and what an amazing experience! If you are looking for a place that has staff that is friendly, knowledgeable, nonjudgmental and experiences in exploring the outdoors, Gearhead is the place. As a former Backwoods patron, I like many, we’re deeply saddened when they closed. I was referred to Gearhead and was amazed how professional, personable and knowledgeable the staff was. I had the opportunity to work with both Elizabeth and Tyrone and they were amazing. It was like having my best friend/outdoors guru shopping with me. They were both knowledgeable of the products and listened to understand my needs rather than listen to respond and try to sell me something I didn’t want or would not use. Gearhead Outfitters is my new favorite place in all of Tulsa!!! If your into hiking, camping, running, or just wearing the BEST gear for all the seasons, this is the place to go!

Even if you just want a Yeti, this place has a bunch! AND colors you won't find ANYWHERE else! Even Yeti dog bowls!! Just everything from major survival gear to just lounging at the lake and so much more! And don't even get me started on the customer service!! ITS AMAZING! they dont rush you or pressure you and I was there for like 2 hours just looking at stuff and they never got annoyed with me, answered all my questions and everything. Just such a cool place and made my day! Cant wait to go back and buy EVERYTHING LOL

I have given this place multiple opportunities to earn my business. I can safely say out of countless times I have been here, I have not bought anything. I really enjoy their brands, but the staff is extremely unhelpful and unfriendly. Tonight was the last straw. I have a gift card for $100 to the store and I walk in ready to spend it, but none of the four employees even acknowledged I entered the store. They never said a word to me the whole time I was in the store. I found stuff that I was willing to buy, but I won’t even use a gift card in this place because of their snobby rude employees.
