I have been here for a haircut many times in the past but it has been a while But since my regular stylist who actually used to work at Tulsa hair wasn't available, I took the chance and decided to give this location another try. However, I totally regret that last minute decision. When I arrived I was told it would be a 45 minute wait which I totally understand sometimes when you walk in you have to wait And that's understandable, but the poor customer service & friendliness of the staff left myself and it was obvious others waiting were not happy either from lack of communication & friendliness of the staff working. I waited for over an hour while other customers walked in and were called back within 20 minutes. When I checked in I requested the Tea Tree treatment and a haircut. When I finally got called back the stylist started cutting my hair didn't even spray my hair down and started Doing a dry cut. At that point I didn't say anything because she was the one that checked me in she knew about the tea tree treatment. I thought maybe she did it differently and cut the hair and then washed it. About halfway through my haircut I asked her about the tea treatment and she said, "oh you can get it next time" she didn't even offer to do it even after I mentioned it. I never have texturizing scissors used on my hair because it makes my hair stand up and have cow licks all over the was cutting my hair so quickly that before I knew it she was using texturizing scissors on the top of my head. I'm not one to complain, So after my haircut I paid my bill and even tipped $5, But it is by far the worst haircut I have ever had. I first visited this location several years ago I was very impressed with the customer service and all the stylist. I always was very pleased with my hair and the experience every time I visited this location, but this location needs some serious...
Read moreI’m giving this location two stars because my previous experiences have been alright. I’ve been here to get cuts in the past as well as a color where I just got blonde underneath my hair. That visit, I felt as though my hair was taken proper care of and although it was bleached, it sustained minimal damage. Recently, I came in for a birthday treat to get my hair colored red with some blonde balayage at the ends. Michele did the color and slapped quite a bit of bleach over most of my hair, lightening it way more than I had intended. I cried looking in the mirror the next day, realizing how brassy and orange my hair had been left. I felt like a clown. I came back the next day, on my birthday, and spent several more hours in her chair to get some of the top of my hair darkened to the red I’d asked for. As someone with anxiety, it was quite nerve wracking to call back and ask for someone to help fix hair I wasn’t happy with. They didn’t tell me the same stylist would be correcting it, and it’s been a few days now and I can clearly see large chunks of my hair that have been fried, bits of it that even came out because of the new breakage. When asking a profesional to lighten any parts of my hair, I expected more care to keep it healthy, especially being as that the blonde bits I asked for where supposed to be a lot more subtle than what I received. It sucks that around my birthday and the holidays, almost $300 later, I have a hair color that I’m fine with, but not happy with, and that I’ve been left with a lot of breakage after years of cutting down on using heat tools and color to keep it healthy. Although I got lucky enough to have good experiences in the past, I don’t think I asked for anything very complex this visit and unfortunately had an experience that will keep me from coming here again for color. Do your research and pick the right stylist to color your hair if...
Read moreCame here once in August and had the BEST experience with olivia. My haircut was perfect and I loved it. I went back the next time and it was her day off so I went to someone else and it wasn’t bad but my face framing pieces looked so bad. Like a straight line. So I took my friend there to get her haircut a week later and asked the girl cutting her hair to fix my front pieces. She did and they looked so much better.
I went back and it was the same girl that cut my hair the second time and the cut itself was good but the same issue, the face frames. And this time they were completely butchered. One side was not bad but the other side was completely chopped way too far in. Not even at all. The bad side was cut into the middle of the side of my head. I went back the next day and asked one of the other girls if she could fix it and she tried her best and she told me it would be hard to fix and I would have to grow it out… which I had assumed anyways. I thought about calling a manager to get my money back from that cut but I didnt want to get the stylist in trouble. I still cry about my hair because it still looks so bad and i literally can’t do...
