Panda Express — Restaurant in Tuscaloosa

Everything on the inside is ridiculously sticky every time I go in. 9/10 times when I go to the drive thru they don't have what I ordered, but they don't tell me that until after I have paid. I always order veggie spring rolls and never get sweet and sour sauce (that comes with it) even when I specifically ask. Forks are a rarity for the drive thru staff. & my last straw with this place was recently when the lady at the drive thru spilled the pitcher of sweet and sour sauce all over and into my bag, then proceeded to hand it to me. It got sweet and sour sauce all over me and all in my car. My car had to be detailed and my seats shampooed. I called to let the manager know because things like that definitely cost them business. The person I spoke with was not the manager, didn't offer to leave a message, and would not tell me a good time to call back but insisted I tell her. She literally laughed and asked me what I wanted her to do about it. 🙄🤔 So, food is decent when they have what you want, but not worth having to clean your shoes or car after...

Normally excellent. This time however, I visited 2-14-20 at opening and was somewhat put off by the fact that the white rice (another costumer ordered it) wasn't ready nor was the sweet&sour sauce ready. To my surprise, the brown rice wasn't fully cooked either. I don't know about you but I'm not crazy about eating (expensive) rice and bite into the hard, not fully cooked grains. Also, I was charged for the $1.25 upcharge each for Honey walnut and Firecracker shrimp. No problem, I knew about the upcharge ( they remind you anyway). Problem is I expected more flavor, larger portion and a more unique flavors. Not so much of either. Overall, we spent almost $24 bucks. On a good note, even though we had to wait, the egg rolls were delicious and the orange chicken was on par. All is forgiven. I hope the Panda Express powers that be read this and make adjustments accordingly . I'll update after my next...

I have always enjoyed Panda Express and found them really good if you keep in mind what they are an Americanized Fast Food place. However, The last two times I have noticed that it appears their portion sizes have been reduced. I ordered the bigger plate and the two entree's in the main box was very small and the extra container for the third entrée I'm feel even more certain it is smaller than it has been recently. If they feel the need to reduce portion sizes then informing the customer or even charging a bit more would have been nice. But to try to slip it in under the table as it appears to me is just underhanded and sneaky.
