Pitaya — Local services in University City

First time coming here and probably will be my last. The employees weren’t very attentive to the customers. The two employees here today just gossiped the whole time.

Regarding the clothing I can tell many of the knitwear pieces are made of quality. They’re heavy and seem pretty durable. Most of the knitwear I was looking at was made of cotton so that was nice to see. As for the rest of the clothing besides the knitwear It honestly felt like cheap fast fashion.

The sizing isn’t inclusive. I know this is a small brand but that really isn’t an excuse I know many small brands that are size inclusive. Get it together S,M,L isn’t enough and really isn’t that good of a measurement of size. The pants/jeans have the same problem. If you’re going to sell pants it needs an proper length and waist measurement of the pant. Again S,M,L won’t do that for you. If you’re really tall and thin these jeans might work for you otherwise I would skip over them. They pants/jeans are all of the same length which doesn’t help people who are of average height or shorter. I’m 5’6 and these jeans are a couple inches long for me. You could tell by the other customers body language that they didn’t feel comfortable in the store. So sad this store disappointed. If this store improves on these details I might make...

The customer service here is terrible. I am from out of town & a dress caught my eye so I went inside to take a look at it. My family and I just got done with dinner and they were outside waiting for me. Two ladies were working and didn’t have a warm welcome at all.

I decided not to get the dress and as I was walking out one of the employees said under her breath to her coworker “Oh she’s just gonna shop lift”.

I happen to manage a boutique and love supporting locally owned stores especially because I work for a locally owned boutique. Although I do not recommend shopping here...super disappointing because the clothes looked cute ):

Maya and Olivia are 2 of the laziest employees to ever exist. They literally stood at the counter and talked about boy drama the entire time customers were in there. Maybe quit focusing on mask compliance and try helping the customers? One was equally as lazy as the other. Getting paid to gossip. Customers do not want to listen to that. Store was a mess.
